... I put forth the first conspiracy theory in this very same thread. Sinister and dark government forces in military camo are fomenting terroristic and criminal unrest against "We the people." I'm guessing North Korean dictator, Menta Li Il, will be the Pentagon's next bogeyman foisted upon us. (The United States military is nothing without bogeymen to chase.)

What a bunch of baloney.
Sure there have been more than a few white men who have carried out terrorist attacks however, most have acted alone or with a few accomplises. The UNA bomber (loner), McVeigh (one or two accomplises, I forget). Even the nutjobs who gunned down mass amounts of people were loners or had one pal who helped. Seems those who are not white and are Muslim extremists get help (money, knowledge, supplies) from their "network" in and out of the country.
And the writer should have included (but probably purposely excluded) that he hopes the bomber is a white guy AND a member of either the Republican, Conservative or Tea Party.

There have been a lot of abortion clinic bombings and arsons carried out by groups.

In August 2006, Hughes was sentenced to six years in prison, and Dunahoe to one year. Hughes claimed the bomb was a "memorial lamp" for an abortion she had had there.[29]
September 11, 2006 David McMenemy of Rochester Hills, Michigan, crashed his car into the Edgerton Women's Care Center in Davenport, Iowa. He then doused the lobby in gasoline and started a fire. McMenemy committed these acts in the belief that the center was performing abortions; however, Edgerton is not an abortion clinic.[30] Time magazine listed the incident in a "Top 10 Inept Terrorist Plots" list.[31]
April 25, 2007: A package left at a women's health clinic in Austin, Texas, contained an explosive device capable of inflicting serious injury or death. A bomb squad detonated the device after evacuating the building. Paul Ross Evans (who had a criminal record for armed robbery and theft) was found guilty of the crime.[32]

January 1, 2012 Bobby Joe Rogers, 41, firebombed the American Family Planning Clinic in Pensacola, Florida with a Molotov cocktail; the fire gutted the building. Rogers told investigators that he was motivated to commit the crime by his opposition to abortion, and that what more directly prompted the act was seeing a patient enter the clinic during one of the frequent anti-abortion protests there. The clinic had previously been bombed at Christmas in 1984 and was the site of the murder of Dr. John Britton and James Barrett in 1994.[38]

April 1, 2012 A bomb exploded on the windowsill of a Planned Parenthood clinic in Grand Chute, Wisconsin, resulting in a fire that damaged one of the clinic's examination rooms. No injuries were reported. On April 3, the FBI arrested 50-year-old Francis Grady on charges of "arson of a building used in interstate commerce" and "intentionally damaging the property of a facility that provides reproductive health services".[39]

Crazy early morning police activity in Cambridge on the MIT campus, and in Watertown. mIT cop killed. Carjacking occurred. Possible explosives involved. Both the Globe and the Times are reporting that "black cap" has been killed and "white cap" is still at large but there is clearly lots of activity and nkthing is clear yet. The FBI has not yet briefed anyone. We shall see ...

White Hat Suspect’ In Boston Marathon Bombings On Run, Other Suspect Dead

BOSTON (CBS) - One Boston Marathon bombing suspect is dead and another is still on the run and said to be armed and extremely dangerous.

According to CBS News correspondent Bob Orr, the surviving suspect has been identified as Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, whose last known address was Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Orr said the man’s 20-year-old brother is the other suspect.

The AP cited sources saying the men are from Russia in the region near Chechnya and that they lived in United States for at least one year.

Orr reported the brothers were believed to be living legally in the U.S., but they were not here as students.

Boston Police released an image of the man on the loose around 4:20 a.m. Friday. He is Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the man with the white baseball hat in the FBI photos released Thursday in connection with the bombings probe.

“We believe this to be a terrorist,” Boston Police commissioner Ed Davis told reporters. ”We believe this is a man who’s come here to kill people.”

“We want to be very careful what we do here,” Davis said.

All MBTA public transportation has been shut down until further notice, at the request of police.

All of Watertown has been closed off, no vehicles are being allowed in or out as heavily armed police officers search door-to-door for Tsarnaev. There is concern is he may be armed with explosives.

Authorities have asked everyone in Watertown, Newton, Waltham, Belmont, Cambridge, and the Allston-Brighton section of Boston to stay indoors.

The chaotic turn of events in the investigation began late Thursday night, when a 7-11 in Cambridge was robbed.

A short time later, at 10:30 p.m. an MIT campus police officer was found shot multiple times in his car in the area of Vassar and Main streets. He was rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital where he died.

Here is what happened next, according to the Middlesex D.A:

Authorities launched an immediate investigation into the circumstances of the shooting. The investigation determined that two males were involved in this shooting.

A short time later, police received reports of an armed carjacking by two males in the area of Third Street in Cambridge. The victim was carjacked at gunpoint by two males and was kept in the car with the suspects for approximately a half hour. The victim was released at a gas station on Memorial Drive in Cambridge. He was not injured.

Police immediately began a search for the vehicle and were in pursuit of the vehicle into Watertown. At that time, explosive devices were reportedly thrown from car by the suspects. The suspects and police also exchanged gunfire in the area of Dexter and Laurel streets. During this pursuit, an MBTA Police officer was seriously injured and transported to the hospital.

White Hat - Dzhokhar Tsaenaev - was a student at Cambridge Ringe & Latin, at least in 2011. Still no name for his now dead brother. Reports just said white hat drove over his brother's body while he was fleeing the scene in Watertown.

It seems really odd that Chechen terrorists would be targeting the US...

The Chechen people have some legitimate grievances with the Russians, and they have terrorist organizations that operate in that region, but what could possibly be their beef with us?

Personally I'm thinking that these guys are not related to some Chechen terrorist operation, but are just a couple of psychos who felt very alienated and didn't adapt well to living in the US. (I'm not trying to make excuses for what they did; what they did was inexcusable; I'm just trying to understand it...)
