when I did steel fab, we had to sign off on the fabrication prints, the fitter , welder, and checker, all had to sign off on the prints.

there was this real piece of work named William Edward Savage that signed his work WES. it caused me to get blamed for some real bullshit mistakes.

it still annoys me, but he is dead now, so I guess I should get over it....
