Gah, I'd love snow!! A decent drop of rain wouldn't go amiss....

You know, a little snow now and again is fine. It's part of having seasons, and I like seasons. But this twice-a-week belting every week since New Year's is some bullshit, man.

It actually started this crap way earlier than Christmas and it set a record here for snow. Next week the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel, up to 55F one day and other highs in 40's and 50's.

The weather currently is chilly, but the sun is out. It has been sunny for a few days and has hit 50F. Currently preparing to bitch about how hot it is.

Weather is haywire here in Bloem as well. We've had thunderstorms and/or rain almost every day for the past 2-3 weeks - and that is very unusual. Mostly at night. Daylight hours have varied between overcast and something like today which was brilliantly sunny and warm. Global weirding.

No they just wanted to celebrate Internatonal Women's Day by allowing a bunch of girls to win something

We've got through storm season without being majorly hit for the first time in four years.

There's been just enough rainfall to keep my water tank topped up.

No bitching about the weather here. This time last year we were knee-deep in snow. Today it's been 15C and cloudless, it's been like this for almost a week. We've managed to get most of the garden clearing up done and painted the fence. Given that we're lucky to have got this far by July most years, definitely no bitchin' here.... Except about the aching back, legs and shoulders.

So the last of the snow finally melted on Saturday when it went up to about 60F (15C). And last night, it snowed again. So far this morning we're up to about 3.5 or 4 inches, and it's still snowing. At this rate, the kids are going to be in school until July.
