If you haven't solved at least one word by the 4th attempt, you really have to concentrate and try to second-guess (and in some cases, third-guess!) your choices from there on out.  And even then, there's no guarantee.

Just as a matter of interest, Octordle asks you to solve for eight words and gives you thirteen attempts in which to do so.  This means you can make no more than FIVE incorrect guesses and still be able to solve the puzzle.  My analysis might be a little flawed, but if you divide five (the number of incorrect attempts you are allowed) by eight (the number of words you are trying to solve), this means that you are allowed DOUBLE ZERO point FOUR (00.4) incorrect attempts per word.  If you look at it that way, any time you get all eight, you've really accomplished something!

I get a little bit sad anytime I start the octordle and haven’t solved in 3 turns. I keep going but it’s like watching a suspense movie you already know the big twist/outcome.
