Re: Coronavirus
And you did!

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

It’s all really funny until you go to the grocery store and see folks with limited means (can’t afford to bulk buy or hoard) and limited access to shopping (many elders get out once a week if that, with help from a carer) and there is nothing left on the shelf to buy because greedy bastards took 10x more than they really needed.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

He Has 17,700 Bottles of Hand Sanitizer and Nowhere to Sell Them
Amazon cracked down on coronavirus price gouging. Now, while the rest of the world searches, some sellers are holding stockpiles of sanitizer and masks.

On March 1, the day after the first coronavirus death in the United States was announced, brothers Matt and Noah Colvin set out in a silver S.U.V. to pick up some hand sanitizer. Driving around Chattanooga, Tenn., they hit a Dollar Tree, then a Walmart, a Staples and a Home Depot. At each store, they cleaned out the shelves.
Over the next three days, Noah Colvin took a 1,300-mile road trip across Tennessee and into Kentucky, filling a U-Haul truck with thousands of bottles of hand sanitizer and thousands of packs of antibacterial wipes, mostly from “little hole-in-the-wall dollar stores in the backwoods,” his brother said. “The major metro areas were cleaned out.”
Matt Colvin stayed home near Chattanooga, preparing for pallets of even more wipes and sanitizer he had ordered, and starting to list them on Amazon. Mr. Colvin said he had posted 300 bottles of hand sanitizer and immediately sold them all for between $8 and $70 each, multiples higher than what he had bought them for. To him, “it was crazy money.” To many others, it was profiteering from a pandemic.

There must be laws against profiteering during a time of national emergency. Now that Trump has declared such, I would think that the hospitals, who need this stuff, could go over to his storage locker and confiscate it. Reimburse him at his actual $ cost. Subtract the cost of the bailiffs / marshals etc necessary to repossess the stuff. With any luck he'll collect 10c on the dollar of his costs. (I'd rather have that minmal reimbursement than just seizing it.) If he tries to fight it in court, I'll volunteer to be on the jury.

Um no, a private entity cannot just take the property of another private entity and even a governmental entity must go through significant process and meet certain requirements first (and then still provide just compensation afterwards). Re: Coronavirus
Just read a story online about a Canadian couple who made $70,000 over the last few weeks re-selling disinfectant wipes on eBay (4x+ retail price) that they’d purchased locally all over their community, cleaning the shelves. Apparently they started buying well before the panic hit here.
Terribly clever, soulless human beings. I’d rather die an economic loser than be such a piece of shit.

Deer Fellow Americans,
I tested Donald Trump for the COVID-19 and he had a perfect score. The highest score ever in history I can tell you that.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Bar soap works fine, and there's plenty on the shelves . . . at least for now.

Re: Coronavirus
Lucky for me I have for years purchased my basic supplies in bulk. I haven’t gone for toilet paper this month; I still have plenty. I go to a warehouse store and stock up every few months; it saves a lot of money.
If I was going get toilet paper this month I would have put it off until the crisis passes. As a matter of fact, I have done nothing different; I always operate with extra caution during flu season.

I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.

People who are profiting from COVID-19 in this manner need to be made an example of.
Publish their name and address and let the public have at them.
