Ward, you need to have a talk with The Bieber....
Re: Ward, you need to have a talk with The Bieber....
In thinking about it, so long as I remain physically and mentally capable, I'll probably never fully "retire"...
I'm lucky enough to be able to work for myself, and I enjoy what I do...
My idea of "retirement" would probably be to cut back on my consulting work and start a political website...maybe write a sci-fi book or two...

Maybe I read that in AARP magazine.
GAH!

If you have to ask, you probably can only read the latter. One difference; Rolling Stone never has articles on early bird dinner discounts.

AARP is for old fogies.Sue U wrote:How can you tell the difference?
Rolling Stone is for old stoners.

It's quite possible to be both...AARP is for old fogies.
Rolling Stone is for old stoners.
Just ask Dale...

Perhaps, but while I'd consider joining the American Association of Stoners of a Certain Age, I'll still shred my AARP materials when they come in.

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

Lief Garret along with Danny Bonaducce (sp?) and Tonya Harding and a few others comment on the show, "Worlds Dumbest ....".Who even remembers Lief Garret (except for that horrible "whatever happened to" series),
yes I watch Worlds Dumbest..... It's a show I could have starred in when I was yngr_n_dmbr.
AARP is always mailing me some crap. I wish they would include a SASE so I could chop up whatever they send me and mail it back to them.
RIP AF.

Annette Funicello was undeniably special, and by all accounts had a special relationship with Walt Disney, who had discovered her at a dance recital and personally guided her career. (I understand Annette's hand prints are in the concrete next to the pool at a house around the corner from me; the place was Frankie Avalon's mom's house in the 60s -- his prints are there, too).

I would like to nominate this thread in the "Witty Subject Line of the Year" category when the 2014 Posties are voted on in February next year.
