You can't blame the Phillies for the Mets' dismal performance; they did that to themselves. Besides, who else are you going to get from the NL to beat the Yankees?

Have you considered becoming a Brooklyn Cyclones fan instead? Love their ballpark.

Philadelphia, where the cheese comes from, right?

God loves a terrier!
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

The Giants have won more games than any MLB team in the history of the sport.

I don't blame the Phillies, they are divisional rivals, that's why I hate them (that they kick the Mets ass all the time is just icing on the cake). I hate the Braves too.

Brooklyn is too far a ride from here out east on Long Island, but I am a (part time) Ducks fan. Nice ballpark, fan friendly, cheap tickets and only about 20 minutes away from me. Plus, the players actually play and are not primadonas.

It's too bad they don't allow steroids in baseball any more.

The Giants' batters could use some.

But nevertheless....

Go Giants!!!!!

I'm hoping for a 7-game series but I have to give it to Philadelphia because they have a lot better chance of knocking off the Yankees than the Giants do. Otherwise I'd root for the Giants.

Baseball. That's the one where all those guys went who were befuddled by that whole string thing, right?

Good job taking game 1! Gets things off on the right foot. Most G-fans were saying all they hoped for was to split the first two games in Philadelphia; now they have a shot at coming back 2 - 0.

Rivals again! (My hometown team is the Riversharks; I used to be a regular at their park -- before we moved, it was less than 5 minutes from my house -- but I didn't even go once this year, I'm very sorry to say.)

Is there still baseball being played? I said I was going to take a break this year, and I have. But I admit, I miss that whole post-season rush and excitement. Just please whoever you're rooting for, can you make sure the Yankees don't go any further so I can actually watch and enjoy the World Series!

Couldn't watch the Giants game as Cablevision and Fox are having a dispute on retransmission fee's so Fox pulled their channels from Cablevision. Couldn't watch the football Giants game yesterday either.
