Of course I don't have a crystal ball Joe, and no one can say for sure how this riveting drama will play out in the end...

But I suspect Meade's star will begin to fade when we get to The Swimsuit portion of the competition...

You could be right, Jim. However, the bathing suit competition may not be as important as anticipated since Meade wears a suit manufactured for him in 1850. The suits are not quite as risqué as some had hoped for them to be.

Also, you never can tell if wesw might make a good showing now that he is a well known member of this congregation of congregators.

I have a cunning plan

After all, I did vote 1 each for the three ladies named in the poll.... (hint)

I think we should give the award to wes by acclamation because he's the first new poster to show up around here in many years and he's actually hung around...

(Despite the fact that he can't find the edit function or the apostrophe key... :arg )

OMG! :o

Now it's Meade, LJ, and Crackpot, (yes, Crackpot) in the lead!

What a see-saw battle...

Could it possibly get more exciting than this?

This is by far the most interestingly fought battle for recognition as the Plan B Person of the Year that I can remember. Keep in mind that I can change the rules, so payola and all other forms of coercion are encouraged but not necessary.

Of course I pledge to keep this contest as honest and forthright as is humanly possible. It is my duty as a Plan B Member.

I think the fix is in and everyone will end up with the same number of votes. We will then form a tontine and the last to die inherits the title and all the appurtenances.
(You have those, right Joe?)

Without a doubt. My (test) votes from last night have apparently been discounted so no one or two posters are in the lead.

I have them, as my reign of terror continues unabated. Please cast my votes for anyone who has fewer votes than anyone else.

Ain't that just like a socialist...

At the moment however, that would be impossible as we have an 11 way tie for first place...(or an 11 way tie for last place, depending on whether you're a glass half full or glass half empty kinda a guy...)

If this keeps up, I may have to withdraw my third vote from Wes to break the tie... (sorry Wes, but my effort to create a groundswell for you fell flat)

It's up to 3 votes so a vote or two could be withheld to make a tie.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.
