Re: Quick n the draw
There are indeed five old white men on the Supreme Court, and Kennedy did write a concurrence in the Hobby Lobby case. But yes, I left out Mister Associate Justice Thomas. If only that could happen in the real world (and not because he is black).

Re: Quick n the draw
There are five old white men, but one of them (Stephen Breyer, 76) voted with the minority in Hobby Lobby, so in that case it was four old white men and one old black man who made up the majority...
(Though Thomas is a relative spring chicken at only 66, so he'll probably be around for many years to come...

Yeah, I always forget about Lord Breyer, too, even though he is the only one I've actually met in person (as opposed to seeing in person).

well, I never heard of this Gellar woman before yesterday. the only political view of hers of which I am aware is the view on the first amendment which she espoused on CNN with a not very impressive interviewer. what ever her other positions are, and people seem to genuinely dislike herviews, her position on the first amendment and the speech which it protects is spot on. period.

Really? Ok, well if Muhammad wants to complain or protest like the Jews and Niggers would he's welcome to do so, after all, you have that free speech mantra over there.rubato wrote:Holdng a "Muhhamad drawing contest" is as patently racist/bigoted and offensive as holding a "Nigger drawing contest" or a "Jew drawing contest". Simply because speech which is offensive is protected does not morally justify such speech.
