No nation or people are perfect, and certainly Germany has its issues, but this is our second German Christmas and its been nothing but lovely and magical. I am impressed by the joy, hope, love, and manners I’ve observed every day here. I’m grateful for the experience (despite the cold I seem to have picked up along the way).
