Thanks rubato I knew there was more than my inepted computer use to blame for this.

Hen Don't worry about it not worht the effort. I will get a few pictures of the run because it was all most magical yesturday. I was coming over that mountain and the cloud was sitting half way down but the view was a perfect way to start tha day.

It is about the radio descusion about commuters becoming depressed on their way to and from work. I know I am lucky to be here and feel sorry for all of you who aren't

Sadly, I am still one of those jobless people. The last job I did have was 1 mile from my house and usually only had enough time to catch a commercial on the radio. When I took the motorcycle, it would take me longer to put on the leathers and helmet and get the bike out of the shed then it did to hop in hte car and drive to work.

Hopefully, sometime soon, I will have a very bad commute to make every day going to/from my job.

Mine is about 40 miles, maybe 15 of that 2-lanes, the rest highway. It's about 40 minutes or so. (Though my record is 37, going in at 5am on Saturday with no traffic.)

Liz does ~30, mostly 2-lanes.

Hope you do too, oldr.

I agree with you Aard Vark; many moons ago, I lived up in the Santa Cruz mountains and had a 45 min. commute, mostly through the woods to get to work.
Anyone who knows HWY 17, has seen how beautiful that stretch is- I hope to God, it is NEVER developed.
