If PMSP is stalking LoCA, it's not happening here. If LoCA is actually being stalked by PMSP, there are much better ways to deal with it.

Whining about it on this BBS is not one of them.

Creating drama and arguing with the Hen about trivial things is also not one of the best ways to deal with someone you believe is stalking you.

Pretending to employ a 'neutral counsel' is yet another useless tactic for a person to use against an alleged stalker.

I believe this drama is all LoCA's creation and is her (odd) way of enjoying her time on the internet.

As for being in favor of bannings, I'm not the poster(s) who have voiced a blanket objection to them. In fact, I have clearly said here and on the other board(s) that I think speech may be regulated, has consequences, and those consequences may include banning.

Well Guin, I've just drawn a conclusion based on just now reading back over PMSP's posts (try saying that quickly...) which is that the vast majority of them are not directed towards lo, are not about lo and are in fact about subjects ranging from Bruce Springsteen to Gob's photography. You only have to read back over this thread to find that she was posting on topic until lo started her 'stalker' thing. That any other conclusion could be drawn by an unbiased observer is preposterous!

Then there are times when your family is threatened that you just need to speak up.

I shouldn't have posted so much yesterday, it was unworthy. However I did know that soon the weight of Lo's underhanded, slimy actions were to be lifted from my shoulders.

I should have waited until Gob was ready to spill the beans in what she tried to do to him before I opened my mouth.

But the record will show (and Daisy has been keeping count for me) that there have been a number of attempts digs from Lo that have been ignored by both Gob and myself.

There have been 9 reports of unwarranted attacks by loCA on The Hen since the middle of August.

To be honest there are a few more that could have been reported but have been let slip.

The latest new that loCA has reported Gob to his employer (on what grounds heaven only knows) takes this whole business a step beyond anything that has gone before.

Based on that I would like to see loCA's explanation of her actions and then reopen the debate of wether this should result a permanent ban from the board. Attacks on here are one thing but to take this into threatening someones livelihood is quite another.

There was absolutely no justification for this what so ever.

I have consistently opposed banning LoCa, but this is a bridge too far...

As I just posted in Strop's thread I've changed my mind; she should be permanently banned immediately.

As far as I'm concerned, since the facts of what she did are not in dispute, (she freely admits that she did it) I agree with what Meade said; no further discussion should even be necessary.

But if there is going to be another poll thread on it, it should be started ASAP and last no longer than three days.

This is certainly not a case, (like we had with Quad) where a poster was openly boasting about misusing his professional access to private information for the purpose of intimidation, and smearing another poster as a child molester, or anything of the sort...

This was nothing but a case of a pure vindictive effort to damage the life of a person (and his family) who's only "crime" was that they wanted nothing to do with the obsessed individual.
