I had thought that people trapped in elevators was a relatively rare occurrence. Lack of inspection and permitting laws? Lack of enforcement?


ThyssenKrupp, and Otis are bellweather companies BTW; even in a downturn people pay for ongoing maintenance of equipment so they are a safe bet in a recession.
