It's also possible that one of our admins might be able to have the permissions to go in and change the poll without losing the current votes...

Of course by that I mean one of our admins with actual technical knowledge like Daze or RB, not Strop...

Okay I changed it to allow 3 votes instead of 1 or 2 just for the heck of it.

You can change your vote also. It was like that at the beginning but I suspect that nobody read that far into my post.

It didn't erase the existing votes.

I'm not sure that's working...

I've tried to go back; I can't re-vote...

Well, now I've cast two votes...

One for oldr, a man for whom I have enormous respect...

And a second vote for rube...

Not out of any respect for him, but simply because of the humor he brings to the table.... 8-)

I'm a fan of the secret ballot and cast two of my three votes secretly (none for myself BTW so my thanks to the deluded poster who did and the cheque is in the mail).

But the third vote must be out in the open (since the original poll is heavily biased against women, proving that they don't 'talk' nearly as much as men) and it goes to Guin. It was a photo finish.

I'm thinking that I'll probably declare a "winner" tomorrow at some random time. The person with the highest vote count at that point, along with the runners up, will be expected to give long & drawn out speeches demonstrating how humble they are and thankful (or not) for the recognition.

My official count currently shows a three way tie for the title of Plan B's Person of the Year for 2013 between SueU, oldr_n_wsr and Lord Jim. I will officially close the poll at around 12PM PST, so since I can't really stop anyone from voting after that, any vote after 12PM won't count unless it gets by my keen eye and I fail to notice it or I decide that I don't really care.

Now here's a report from our roving reporter (a schizophrenic homeless guy who doesn't know his name) who is currently on 5th & Market in San Francisco...

Thank you Joe! The tension on the streets here in The City By the Bay is now so thick that you could cut it with a knife. Thousands of people are out on the street loudly chanting for the candidate from their town (Joe Guy).

At least that's what I'm hearing and seeing. By the way, can you spare any change? Back to you Joe!!

Well, there you have it folks! The election of Plan B's Person of the Year for 2013 has clearly captured our nation's attention to a degree never before measured.
