Well, I won't post a cartoon in response to either one of yez now. My fault for not being clear. The comment about Vargas being deported was not supposed to be taken at face value as a serious point of discussion. What was above it was supposed to be that. Mea culpa. Should have put a smilie there, I guess.

You earned your first cartoon Big RR as I made the facetious "in jail" comment and anticipated you rising to the bait. You got the second one for being landed. But you are right - it wasn't fair really. Now I'll go lick my wounds for having my witty dialog compared to the wild child

Meade, Jose Antonio Vargas found out he was illegally here during high school, when he went to apply for a driver's license at the age of 16 and was told by the clerk that his green card (obtained for him by his grandfather, a naturalized U.S. citizen) was fake. Read his autobiographical essay, and tell us just what you think Vargas should have done, at what point in his life. (And what do you think you would have done, under similar circumstances?)

helping the countries that the folks are leaving so as to make them livable. job one is to destroy the Mexican cartels influence in America so as to destroy their main cash cow. that will entail legalizing marijuana and securing the southern border. preferably with veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan , who are able to handle the level of violence that the cartels practice. all those special forces guys need jobs too...

...and it s better than building a big ugly wall across the desert and along the rio grande.
