BSG, why do you think that people hate you or resent you so much? There's no record for it....

No one, (at least 'round these parts) feels that way...

You really do need to take a Chill Pill...

You don't believe the sources I posted, Gob? YOU do the fucking research then! Don't post telling me I'm stupid and wrong just because YOU say so; who the fuck do you think you are, anyway??? As Andrew D said, a screw in a psych ward and nothing more.
I posted one source which said;
The tactic prevents the chlorine in the water (used to disinfect it from pathogens) from reacting with sunlight to become bromate, a suspected carcinogen. It also protects water sources from wildlife and blocks it from the sun to reduce evaporation.
I've never heard of reservoirs being treated that way.

I didn't tell you you were "stupid and wrong" I've just never heard of anyone putting chlorine directly into a reservoir. Also, as I had done my research and not found any evidence of anyone doing this, so wondered if you had any.

I've never been a screw on a psych ward, in fact the last time I did ward based work was in 1992.

All we did in that thread was point out your grand hypocrisy. Leaving again? Don't let the door hit your fat arse on the way out.

Well, it's difficult to argue against that line of reasoning... :?

A chill pill is definitely what's needed. (I thought a vacation was supposed to mellow you out, not make you more irascible? Or is it the withdrawal that comes from getting back to work?)

As for...

Go outside under that big sky, and take as many deep breaths as necessary. We'll wait.

hurry up and start a thread in which you can post endlessly excoriating me in my absence, as you did for months on end after I departed last time.
A little context on that thread...(which I have just bumped so folks can review it for themselves.)

That thread was started, because after you had stormed out nearly a year earlier, (because people weren't rushing in to condemn me for a fight you started; which you demanded as a condition for your continued participation here.) you swooped back in for the sole purpose of attempting to make a thread about banning another poster, all about yourself...

That thread was started, so that people could vent and respond to that presumptuous, outrageous, and narcissistic behavior on your part without derailing the serious discussion of banning a forum member, (something that had never been done before, and hasn't been done since.)

And it was started after you were asked to start a thread of your own to discuss your "grievances"...

Here's the opening line I wrote to start that thread:
Since BSG has declined to start a thread focusing on her allegations against individual posters and the board in general that she has made (preferring instead to grind her narcissistic axe in a thread that has a more important purpose) I thought I would help her out and start one for her...
The bottom line is that you have no one but yourself to blame for the creation of that thread.

(and as you can see from reading through it, ultimately it evolved into a comedy thread that had nothing to do with you.)

Alternatively you can put the energy to use. A floating installation allows the panels to move with the water level. :

PETALUMA, Calif. — Solar panels have sprouted on countless rooftops, carports and fields in Northern California. Now, several start-up companies see potential for solar panels that float on water.

Already, 144 solar panels sit atop pontoons moored on a three-acre irrigation pond surrounded by vineyards in Petaluma in Sonoma County. Some 35 miles to the north, in the heart of the Napa Valley, another array of 994 solar panels covers the surface of a pond at the Far Niente Winery.

“Vineyard land in this part of the Napa Valley runs somewhere between $200,000 and $300,000 an acre,” said Larry Maguire, Far Niente’s chief executive. “We wanted to go solar but we didn’t want to pull out vines.”

The company that installed the two arrays, SPG Solar of Novato, Calif., as well as Sunengy of Australia and Solaris Synergy of Israel, are among the companies trying to develop a market for solar panels on agricultural and mining ponds, hydroelectric reservoirs and canals. While it is a niche market, it is potentially a large one globally. The solar panel aqua farms have drawn interest from municipal water agencies, farmers and mining companies enticed by the prospect of finding a new use for — and new revenue from — their liquid assets, solar executives said.

There's a $500.00 application fee. I can send you the paperwork once I get the money.

More effective in preventing the loss of fluids, to which you allude, would be a policy of "hands off".

yes that seems prudent, but if we want to get rid of blue balls we may have to resort to a hands on approach....

I'll miss a few of the folks here, but they don't post much anymore anyway and its not worth tolerating the cuntishness to seek out the occasional gem from Econo, Scooter, Big RR, oldr, Sue . . . and the majority of the nicest folks here don't even hardly post.

I'm sure many of you will be very happy I'm gone again. Enjoy your circle jerk!

I cannot find evidence that it is added to reservoirs? Post reservoirs yes.

The point at which chlorine is added depends on the details of the plumbing of the particular system of water distribution.

A point I would think obvious to all sentient beings.
