I guess it's the loss of sight thing, is it?
Then you incorrectly divined my intention
Sure looks like I admitted you were wrong.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Such as....? (he asked, expecting a bunch of Old Testament stuff back)

And I copied it three times now.

Your intention appears to be to dismiss OT references in advance. why else use the phrasing "bunch of Old Testament stuff" bunch? Stuff? Is the OT just "bunch of stuff" to you. Not so important?

So I was wrong that you said "bunch of Old Testament stuff"?

Apparently not. Apparently I was right about that and you are unable to give a good account of why you were dismissing the OT as a "bunch of stuff". Why are you saying that then? What was the point? Let's not change the subject with a little phony humility now.

I'm not talking about your intentions. I'm talking about what you actually said.

Oh rubato, I'm so sorry for the eye problem.

Here's what I meant (this is a sample)

Well Elijah had some bears kill some children so your god's obviously a Roman Catholic
And/or
your god wants people to glorify him so obviously he's just a megalomaniac

Things like that. I did not expect: oh well your god is about love and that's pretty human or god wants to save people so that's really like nice people

That's the level of OT "stuff" that I expect to encounter
