I tend a favor the out of Africa theory, but I won’t say that the multiregional is theory wrong. In science a theory is theory until it is proven false. The problem is how does one prove either theory right or wrong; if one could prove it right it would be a fact and not a theory. “ Today’s wisdom is tomorrow’s foolishness”.rubato wrote:liberty wrote:http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/whoami/ ... irsthumansBurning Petard wrote:Most likely they came from Africa, like all the other ancestors. Who were the first humans?
Scientists agree that our early ancestors, Homo erectus, first appeared in Africa 1–2 million years ago. They spread throughout the world and evolved into ancient humans. Most believe that modern humans evolved in Africa, and gradually replaced all the other ancient humans (the 'Out-of-Africa' theory). Some scientists believe that ancient humans may have evolved into modern humans all over the world at around the same time (the 'multiregional' theory). Either way, by about 30,000 years ago, we – Homo sapiens – were the only humans left on the planet
I looked up the "multiregional theory" and it appears to be related to homeopathy; they keep watering it down hoping that dilution will some day make it effective.

Russian american citizenship
Re: Russian american citizenship
Soon, I’ll post my farewell message. The end is starting to get close. There are many misconceptions about me, and before I go, to live with my ancestors on the steppes, I want to set the record straight.
Re: Russian american citizenship
Does anyone know what a hypothesis is ? IMO ."lucy's " bone fragments ,scarcely prove "evolution " .

Re: Russian american citizenship
"Evolution" is proved. The question at hand is whether Lucy is just another monkey or not. Of course, paleo people are bound to claim any kind of monkey bone as being "hominid" since to call it anything else isn't at all helpful to their agenda
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Re: Russian american citizenship
It is not that I am a strong supporter of polygamy or monogamy it is that I am opposed to divorce; it is harmful to too many children and possibly causes many of the social problems of this country . People get married when the heat is high, but start looking for a replacement lover the when passion starts to cool and ends up with three or wives. It would be better for the kids if a man had three or four wives at the same time and kept the family together.wesw wrote:liberty...,

Re: Russian american citizenship
A scientist with an agenda is no scientist since the only agenda that a real science should have is the truth. Modern science has fallen on hard times in this era of ideological and bought and paid for scientist. The high point in science was in the beginning when a scientist made no salary except for the few that headed scientific societies . They made mistake too but they tried hard to keep their bias out of their work. They reported what they saw. They would spend their own money doing research just for the honor of reporting a new discover. Now the truth is what the majority says it is; that is not the way science is done. In science, the one can be right and the ninety nine can be wrong.MajGenl.Meade wrote:"Evolution" is proved. The question at hand is whether Lucy is just another monkey or not. What in that sack of pig shit you call a brain creates the delusion that you have the first clue about either how science is actually conducted or should be conducted?

What makes you so sure I couldn’t make it in Russia? The key would be to stay out of politics and keep my opinions to myself. I could do that if I wanted to bad enough. The educational definition of learning is “a change in behavior “ and I have done many times and have the stack of certificates to prove it.Guinevere wrote:liberty wrote:Guinevere wrote:.
Seriously, just get out of my country, and see how well you do in "Mother Russia." I'm certain you wouldn't last a week.
However, I am not sure I could get an exit visa; I once held a Top Secret SCI security clearance.

Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

What are you talking about; what does that have to do with changing one’s behavior in order to fix a new environment?Crackpot wrote:Well you certainly hav the "belive any nonsense you're told" part down.

Did you hear and feel that whooosh?
That was Crackpot's point flying right over your head.
