I still don't get your point. According to this source (and others I Googled), the US has 1,347,300 active military and Russia has 831,000.liberty wrote: .....We can’t beat the Russians in a long artic war. And we can’t afford to have a professional army large enough to do the job; it would bankrupt the country........

Re: Ridicules
Apparently it will be easy for the Russians to raise a 5 million man army and march it 4000 miles across Siberia and over the Pole. Because Russian soldiers are so good that they can also walk on water.

Oh... now I get it. That makes a lot of sense. Why didn't I think of that? Thanks.Scooter wrote:Apparently it will be easy for the Russians to raise a 5 million man army and march it 4000 miles across Siberia and over the Pole.
Re: Ridicules
You “forgot” that Canada is secretly communist and thy have already amassed most of thier sleeper army at the border waiting for the order to invade.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Those numbers are about right, but they are misleading. The US does not have million trigger pullers that is combat troops. And the Russian Army is an army of conscripts that serve about a year on actives duty and then are in the reserves until about fifty years of age. So what you see is just the tip of the ice burg.
MLM is a bigot that hates Russians I presume because of their attitudes towards homosexuality. Bigotry is attitude a military man can’t afford; underestimating ones enemy is dangerous.
Soon, I’ll post my farewell message. The end is starting to get close. There are many misconceptions about me, and before I go, to live with my ancestors on the steppes, I want to set the record straight.
Re: Ridicules
MLM, that sounds catchy, can I use it? Always in the market for a cool new nickname.
I don't know enough Russians to generically hate them. I certainly hate a lot of things that Russia is doing, like infiltrating your own White House. Aparently you have no problem with that...

I'm lost here. I have inserted some punctuation, corrected a couple of spellings, and rescued the grammar. But I still don't have a clue who MLM is, or why he (?) hates Russians. Please educate me, liberty. (There's a sentence I never thought I would write.)

Mama little moron (MLM) is the best the village idiot could come up with by way of an insulting name he thought would bother me. An Idaho potato could have done better.

That’s the best he could do? I came up with a few disparaging names for you with a few minutes thought. And it only took a few minutes because I wanted one the didn’t use vulgarity.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

I am reminded of Pierre Trudeau, when Richard Nixon called him an asshole or something of the sort, who responded, "I've been called far worse things by far better people."
And when you've lived through thugs screaming the vilest of names at you while raining blows on you with bats and chains, any insults based on sexual orientation are going to come across as flaccid by comparison.

No, MLM is stupid the answer is not that hard: Difficult. Maybe: No, MLM is stupid. The answer is not that hard:
Those numbers are about right, but they are misleading. The US does not have one or a should go in here million trigger pullers that is combat troops I assume this means that 'trigger pullers' is an idiom that equates to combat troops. Makes sense to me. But better to replace 'that is' with i.e., and place the clause in parentheses. And the Russian Army is an army of conscripts that 'who' is better here: the verb 'serve' relates to the conscripts (people and thus 'who') and not the army (an object and thus 'that') serve about a year on actives delete that stray 's' duty and then are in the reserves until about fifty years of age. So what you see is just the tip of the ice burg iceberg.
MLM is a bigot that hates who hates Russians a colon would do nicely here I presume because of their attitudes towards homosexuality. Bigotry is insert 'an' attitude a military man can’t afford; I think a colon would be preferable to a semi-colon here but that's a grammatical misdemeanor rather than a felony: I will leave it underestimating ones one's enemy is dangerous.
Mutatis mutandis:

I can make it reasonably grammatical. However, making sense of the piece is beyond my simple talents.

They only serve one year? So there are not only far fewer of them they have less experience and training. And their country has a GDP less than half that of California to pay for equipment and supplies.
