I was at Sam's Club one evening before they announced that we should all be wearing masks. They had a whole shelf full with three brands, two Chinese, one Indian.I bought a box of 50 for $25. When I got home, Mrs Mc had another package of 25 for $18 that she'd bought at Wally World. No problem. We're keeping the Walton family in dollars.
The next day the governor gave an edict that we should all be wearing masks. No enforcement, just an edict with no fines. Law enforcement all over the state said they had no manpower to enforce such a thing, so it had no teeth. I figured we might need some more, so I went back to Sam's. The price had been lowered to $19 for 50, and the shelves were bare. A few days later I was able to get another 50. I need them on hand for my customers should they show up without one too.
