Got more plans to change posts after people respond to them eh?

Then no, this isn't it.

Nope, I never planned it, that's a strawman.

'It' is the MO of: provoke someone into negatively responding for the attention, AKA trolling. See: your profile. I'm not the first foil, I certainly won't be the last. Sometimes, it's even funny and/or entertaining.

...but I don't care to be adversarial or negative towards you, not how I roll.

That is unbelievable Loca!

You do the same to @W as you did to me, still can't admit you may have fucked up a teeny bit and when @W reacts you accuse her of trolling.
It could be surmised that because I reacted in much the same way I must be trolling too (in you eyes)... can you please clarify this for me?

Oh and you may want to look up the definition of a 'strawman'...

What fucking planet are you on these days lass?

Edited to add the bit in brackets.

See what I did there Loca? It's called netiquette. AKA not acting like a twat.
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

If she(or you) is going to follow my postings just for the purposes of criticizing them; I'd call that trolling.

She called the cross posting planned; it was not, it never will be. That is a strawman fallacy.

It's a slow, hot day and I don't have much to research, so FWIW here's the background on my posting style;

Many moons ago when the internet was younger and so was I, I ventured forth into cyberland with no more than bad typing skills and worse composition styles. This is what you get from a (barely passing) public High School education and some community college that I can't recall from all the pot. However, this did not make mean I was not witty and intelligent! Nay, my comic postings were welcome and in fact encouraged at the infamous CSB, to the delight and/or horror of many a fellow poster.
Many more moons went by, where I learned to navigate and debate the flotsam and jetsam of the cyber-surf. When tragedy struck! I was hit by the recession wave and financially capsized, only surviving by treading the waters, and clinging to a small island of internet access at the library. Oh, I still had a PC at home, but it wasn't hooked up to the net any longer, I couldn't afford it. While waiting for rescue, I wrote a message in a bottle, better known as a data stick, that I would take to the library when the tide was favorable, and cast it out to the cyber-sea.
These messages were better written, because I would sit long hours by candlemonitor light, re-reading and tweaking each joke and paragraph. And lo! Lo was praised, not once but repeatedly for better substance, more engagement, and she was funny, dammit!

Now I sit on dry land again, the net flowing freely (well, not free but affordable now) past my shores. I send out my messages still. Although, more frequency, means they may not be as good as the finely crafted posts of shipwreck days, but I try to tweak them and improve them if I have the time. It's either sink with fast writing, or swim with slow editing.

I suggest that you use notepad and do your editing before you post, or whatever your neurologist suggests.

You have really screwed the pooch and now have a credibility rating of zero.

Don't you get it Loca? This is not about your posting style. Nor is it following your "postings just for the purposes of criticizing them".

There are two posts at fault here: The one where you tried to make me look stupid and the one where you tried to make @W look stupid.

Fuck me, just when I think you've hit rock bottom you pull out a fucking pick axe!

Oh and another thing, this is NOT about cross-posting. You edited FOUR times after my post. That is waaaay beyond cross posting. That's gone right into the realm of fuckwittedness.

I do, but I'm what's called a 'spatial thinker', my thought process isn't linear step-by-step. Makes me a great multi-tasker, but the thought tracks run at different speeds, so I'll think of something else to add or post, often after I've submitted the post.

And have your many years and long history of internet posting not taught you that it's bad form not to acknowledge additions made in edits... particularly when it changes the post beyond all recognition?

Trust me on this Loca, that line is not irrelevant...

Once again I invite you to look up the meaning of strawman before making an arse of yourself using words that you don't understand...

Really? Never in so many years and then twice in a matter of weeks... How quaint...

Oh and respond to the whole question please... not just your selection. That's bad form too didn't you know?

The only time I was aware of a post of mine deliberately changed beyond all recognition was this;

So are you saying that the posts in question:

Yes, warfare includes large and small scale tactics, terrorists having no nations nor standing armies; engage in small scale aggression (it's all they're capable of) to further their agendas.

Al Qaeda pulled off a high-profile(high body count) attack but technically it was not large scale; they did not achieve much strategic advantage over their adversary(the US) via military means of greater numbers nor greater ordinance.
They did terrorize the populous, but also galvanized them to resist such intimidation.

Battle won: jihad(war) lost.

As I understand it, the IRA has not achieved its goals by terrorist tactics but by its 'peace process' IOW Non-violent protest.

Meaning politics has more impact than terrorism.

were not changed beyond all recognition by your editing?

And before you start wittering on... I am aware that you changed the second post back after being called on it...

BTW if you must quote me try quoting the emoticon at the end of that post. You know, the one that made it clear that I was showing you why picking and choosing parts of people's posts to quote was not really good form in a good natured kind of way?

Lest this thread degenerates into a namecalling spiral of the sort that many of us saw at CSB over and over again, I have two suggestions:

1, Like someone said above--if you choose to respond to a post by Lo (or anyone else you are afraid will subsequently edit their posts), quote it in your response.

2. Just don't respond to posts by Lo (or anyone else you are afraid will subsequently edit their posts).

Of course, feel free to rant on and try to make a point that will not be conceded--it's a free board, but isn't life too short for that?

Point taken Big RR. I do however have no intention of causing this to degenerate. I'm just pointing out facts so that Loca can continue to lie about them. :ok
