Probably a little more than a bit nervous, I'd guess!I am guessing the individual who thought up the ad campaign for the jewelry store is getting a bit nervous.
Hey January

Re: Hey January
My world is presently a snowglobe. The drive home was hypnotizing. Started snowing an hour ago already an inch on the ground, possible up to 7 by 6 pm tomorrow. Ah the beauty of knowing that I don't have to get up in the morning and drive....

Re: Hey January
We got about 3inches of snow on Saturday then it rained during the night and all the snow was gone by sunday morning. Waste of a good snowy landscape.

Re: Hey January
Hmm, we have January here too - it's in the mid 30s already. Course, that's Centrigrade.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Re: Hey January
it snowed again here last night. Supposed to reach a balmy sub-tropical 48F later this week and rain. That should bring on more influenza and pneumonia. Yay job security.

Re: Hey January
We're getting your weather a day or two later, @w. (More snow predicted overnight tonight, changing to rain later tomorrow, temps up into the 50s later in the week.) It's okay with me if you use it all up rather than sending it over here; I'm not crazy about the leftovers.
GAH!

Gimme 20F and snow instead of 30'sF and the mixed precipitation.
Re: Hey January
Hey, clearly I control the weather. That's why I warn people not to get on my bad side. I just haven't figured out how to send the tornadoes that far east. I am working on it though so beware.

Not to burst your bubbles, but they buy insurance should the bet ned to get paid. A local furniture company did something here, when the Sox won the World Series in 04 (if Sox win, you get all furniture purchased before June 1, for free . . . or some such deal), and hit it again in 07, then started changing up the contest. I'm sure the insurer got tired of making the payouts.kristina wrote:Probably a little more than a bit nervous, I'd guess!I am guessing the individual who thought up the ad campaign for the jewelry store is getting a bit nervous.

Re: Hey January
Snow Sat/Sun, then rain, then snow, then 20 degrees. Sun and 25 today. Single digits tonight. More snow tomorrow.
It's a horrible mess out there -- despite the many diligent efforts to get it all cleared. I wore snow boots to court today because my driveway is a skating rink and the sidewalks are just as bad.
So, apparently, are the roads. I just about went sliding through an intersection on black ice, at noon today! Car behind me ended up in the median and against a light pole.

Re: Hey January
There is some form of moisture that I cannot identify falling now. It is also hazy out. I expect a blackice hell in the early am (4am or earlier) when my commute begins.
Re: Hey January
Going to hit 30 c / 86 f here today.

Re: Hey January
I prefer the cold myself. Too hot sucks!!!
Personally, I don’t believe in bros before hoes, or hoes before bros. There needs to be a balance. A homie-hoe-stasis, if you will.
Re: Hey January
Yesterday was the first time in a week and a half that I didn't have to take a kettle of boiling water out to melt the chickens' water bucket, Their yard doesn't get much sun this time of year, and it wasn't thawing out during the day. No rain in sight.
Re: Hey January
I know you folks have been worried about the Arctic conditions we've been suffering through, (temperatures between the low 30s and the upper 40s) so I thought I'd put your minds at ease and let you know that the severe cold snap we've been experiencing has broken...
In fact today it got up to 71...it's 69 now...(I just got back from taking the kids and the pooches down to the beach; it's exam week for Tati so she got out early)
It's nice, but as Kristina observed, what we really need in this neck of the woods is rain...
And at the moment there isn't any in sight....

Well if it makes you feel any better @W, I wasn't expecting it to warm up so much so quickly, so I have nothing prepared to barbecue....TPFKA@W wrote:I haven't told anyone this in a while Jim, but FUCK YOU DEAD.I hate you and your weather.
