Gob, are there supposed to be more than 5 frames in that image? It just ended with a blurrier serial rapist - I thought there would be a morph...

Well, duh! I'd have thought the logical last picture would be a blurred view of something further south than his nose....

YOU CAN FEEL THE ROMANCE?

Post by RayThom »

Some journalists are now referring to 'The Cos' as one who practices somnophilia. I like that one. It makes ol' Bill out to be the true lecher that he is. Adding a dash of Rohypnol to your love interest's drink does away with all that nasty rejection shit that interferes with having a good time. He fondly calls it "Spanish fly" and found much humor in it. Dosing girls with impunity. Those were the days, heh, Bill?

Years ago, being from the Philly area and working in the theater community, I had heard many odd stories about Cosby's sexual predilections and peccadilloes. Occasionally I would bike down to the Penn Relays at Franklin Field and watch enviously as Cosby used his fame and fortune to lure all those fine looking young ladies into his snare. However, I had no knowledge at that time that he had to turn to pharmaceuticals to enhance his evening's pleasure.

If he weren't such a sociopath I'd put this washed up, scumbag, on a suicide watch. After all of this plays out maybe the good doctor will just disappear... forever. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

On the radio this morning I heard a clip from his old show where he (Dr Huxtable) says he has made a special b-b-q sauce and how after everyone eats his b-b-q they are all "lovey dovey".

WHOOPI GETS HER MARCHING ORDERS

35 Bill Cosby accusers on New York magazine’s cover

Image

In the years since women first said Bill Cosby drugged and sexually assaulted them and the months since the media started paying attention, it’s been difficult to keep track of the comedian’s alleged victims. Many publications — including The Washington Post — have reported dozens of versions of the same story: A young woman, often an aspiring actress, is violated by a man who thinks himself a mentor.

[Bill Cosby’s legacy, recast: Accusers speak in detail about sexual-assault allegations]

After a few weeks, unfortunately, it became difficult to tell such stories apart. Was it P.J. Masten who said Cosby drugged and raped her in a Chicago hotel, or was that Lise-Lotte Lublin?

New York magazine may have ended the relative anonymity of many Cosby accusers for good. For a cover story this week, New York interviewed and photographed 35 of Cosby’s alleged victims, supplementing the story with video interviews with six.

“The group of women Cosby allegedly assaulted functions almost as a longitudinal study — both for how an individual woman, on her own, deals with such trauma over the decades and for how the culture at large has grappled with rape over the same time period,” the magazine wrote. “In the ’60s, when the first alleged assault by Cosby occurred, rape was considered to be something violent committed by a stranger … But among younger women, and particularly online, there is a strong sense now that speaking up is the only thing to do, that a woman claiming her own victimhood is more powerful than any other weapon in the fight against rape.”

The stories here aren’t necessarily new.

“In the early 1990s, in my mid-20s, Bill Cosby mentored me,” Lili Bernard, who went public in a news conference in May, said in a New York video. “He gained my total trust and then he drugged me without my knowledge. He raped me. I wouldn’t call him crazy … I felt that he was very much in control of his behavior.”

The images and videos, however, leave quite an impression.

Questions:

1: His career is finished and he will never again enjoy fame, one of the most important things in the world to him. Spelman college is so ashamed they have given up an endowed professorship just to remove the association. He can't even go out in public without enduring disapproval. He is some one who enjoyed to the hilt the role of public moral scold now the object of moral loathing.

Will he kill himself now?

2: His wife must have known some of what he did even if she didn't know the whole of it. She will bear a lot of the public disapproval if they stay married.

Will she divorce him now?

The 'Cos' most assuredly displays sociopathic behavior. Everybody else is wrong and they fail to bask in his omnipotence. He's the tenured professor, and we are all his naive students. As such, these sickos rarely commit suicide. However, the internal stresses cause by such an abrupt end to his fame and fortune could have a negative impact on his health. After all, he is 79 years old.

This may prove to be better than any punitive damages a court of law may have rendered.

The wheels of justice grind slowly...

But they do grind:
Bill Cosby is charged with sexually assaulting a woman

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (AP) -- Bill Cosby was charged Wednesday with drugging and sexually assaulting a woman at his home 12 years ago — the first criminal charges brought against the comedian out of the torrent of allegations that destroyed his good-guy image as America's Dad.

The case sets the stage for perhaps the biggest Hollywood celebrity trial of the mobile-all-the-time era and could send the 78-year-old Cosby to prison in the twilight of his life and barrier-breaking career.

Cosby was charged with aggravated indecent assault, punishable by five to 10 years behind bars and a $25,000 fine, and awaited an afternoon arraignment.

Prosecutors accused him of rendering former Temple University employee Andrea Constand unable to resist by plying her with pills and wine, then penetrating her digitally without her consent, when she was unconscious or unaware of what was happening.

She was "frozen, paralyzed, unable to move," Montgomery County District Attorney-elect Kevin Steele said in announcing the charges. He said it is unclear what type of pills Constand was given, but he noted that Cosby has admitted giving Quaaludes to women he wanted to have sex with.

Cosby acknowledged under oath a decade ago that he had sexual contact with Constand but said it was consensual. Calls to his attorneys were not immediately returned.

The charges came down just days before the 12-year statute of limitations for bringing charges was set to run out. The case represents an about-face by the district attorney's office, which under a previous DA declined to charge Cosby in 2005 when Constand first told police that the comic violated her by putting his hands down her pants at his home in the Philadelphia suburb of Cheltenham.

Prosecutors reopened the case over the summer as damaging testimony was unsealed in Constand's related civil lawsuit against Cosby and as dozens of other women came forward with similar accusations that made a mockery of his image as the wise and understanding Dr. Cliff Huxtable from TV's "The Cosby Show."

At that point, "reopening this case was not a question. Rather, reopening this case was our duty as law enforcement officers," Steele said.

He urged any other alleged victims to come forward as well.

Constand, who is now 42, lives in Toronto and works as a massage therapist. In a statement, she and her attorney commended the district's office for what they said was its professionalism and courtesy but said they would have no further comment.

The charges add to the towering list of legal problems facing the actor, including defamation and sex-abuse lawsuits filed in Boston, Los Angeles and Pennsylvania. But as for criminal chargers, many of the alleged assaults date back decades, and the statute of limitations has expired in nearly every case.

Just going to say that Cosby wasn't the only person of that era who thought that Cantharides was the way to get into a girl's pants.  There was a whole industry that grew up around stuff — yohimbine, amyl and butyl nitrite ('poppers'), horny goat weed, and body spray containing so-called pheromones, among others — that was supposed to make someone so randy that they wouldn't or couldn't say no.

And it wasn't the only thing... Dorothy Parker is well known for her brief epigram about how "Candy's dandy, but liquor's quicker".
