At least Cracked Pot admits to his odoriferousness. It's rare to see an acknowledgment like that here at Plan B. Most of the time we see people dodging issues and attempting to make themselves look better than the rest of us.

Take rubato, for example. As a matter of fact, take rubato, please...

Then there is Lord Jim, the man who knows Plan B administrators that owe him favors, but that's another story.

If I were not so extremely qualified to be Plan B Person of the Year for 2016 , I might endorse Crackpot. However, I am so I won't.

I want to make clear that should I win this election, that I will be The Plan B Person Of The Year not just for those who voted for me...

but for all the members of our community, whether they voted for me or against me...

I make this commitment, because that's just the kind of class-act I am...

I'll even extend the hand of friendship to Joe:

I won't be surprised.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

I'd also like to say to those who have not yet voted:

If for whatever inexplicable reason you simply cannot bring yourself to vote for me, please consider voting for one of three other very high-quality candidates:

Strop, Daisy, and Crackpot...

Any of whom would be most worthy of your vote...

Lord Jim now has a lawyer working with him along with the Plan B administrators. It became obvious when he agreed with BSG's theory that I am also another candidate nominated for Plan B Person of the Year for 2016. Who knows what else he and BSG are doing together behind the scenes?

Wake up people! Time is running out. Lord Jim would be a disaster for this BBS. There is more than burley tobacco in those cigars he inhales. The smoke he blows is intended to blind you to his selfish underhanded plan to destroy Plan B.

That's why I ask you to use your vote wisely and vote for me and together we will make Plan B great again.

make Plan B great again.
Now this is an area where Joe and I clearly differ...

He keeps talking about how he's going to " make Plan B great again",,,,

He clearly doesn't believe (as I do) that Plan B is already great, it has always been great, and it doesn't need some self-appointed con artist "savior" to restore a greatness that has never been lost...

The challenge before us, is to extend the benefits of Plan B's greatness to all of the members of our community...

And if I win this vote, that is what I am committed to achieving...

Lord Jim's idea of Plan B being "already great" is based on the high opinion that he has of himself. He believes that he is Plan B. He isn't thinking of the rest of us and how much we enjoy being here. He assumes that we all come here to read his thoughts and ideas and we think he is (in his own word) awesome.

If I am elected we will have fun like we all once did. In those days we weren't all here mostly confined to the Politics forum listening to paranoid Trump trashing, people predicting the return of the Nazis, and Lord Jim speaking faux-authoritatively as if he is Plan B's only Voice of Reason.

You need to speak for yourselves and not be treated like an unheard insignificant lower class Plan B member. If I am elected Plan B Person of the Year for 2016 you will all once again be empowered and feel revitalized. That's why you must vote for me and let me help you make Plan B great again.

I expected to be placed in an air force combat position such as security police, forward air control, pararescue or E.O.D. I would have liked dog handler. I had heard about the dog Nemo and was highly impressed. “SFB” is sad I didn’t end up in E.O.D.

....another black suburban just cruised by.....

it matters not. I knew the price of rebellion when i began this wild career.

I ll slip away tonight, but I hold little hope of escape.

still..., I will run. I will draw them away.
I will flee to the hills and fly to the marshes and the innocent will be left alone.

I will taste the fishes and I will touch the land.

I will find a place far away and await my pursuers...., and my fate.

they will bury me in the wilderness and I will not be written about.

only whispers....

@JoeGuy

The current vote count is highly questionable. Notice how you haven't heard from Gob, Daisy and RB? Could it be they are pretending to be away while tampering with the poll numbers? Outrageous!

I have it on good authority that Daisy and RB haven't been around and Gob isn't competent enough to do any tampering.
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Well, since no one will get a mjrity of the votes cast (unless things change drastically), maybe we will need a runoff between the top 2 (hopefully) vote getters.

That's never been done before; no other winner has ever received a majority of the votes cast in the final round...

Big RR , I have two questions:

1. Are you suggesting changing the rules in the middle of the election because I'm the one who's leading?

2. How much is Joe Guy paying you to make this suggestion?

ETA:

I'll say this...

If two people should wind up in a tie, then a third round would definitely be preferable to the mystery process used to determine the winner the last time there was a tie...

Actually, I have no problem with you leading or winning (or JG for that matter), but I do like to see a winner get a majority of votes cast. and FWIW, it's unlikely that Joe will be in that runoff, so if he were paying me he'd be wasting his money.

and face it, carrying this on for another week diverts from the All Trump, all the time message. :nana Not only that, but it makes the a much more legitimate title holder than Trump is a president (even though it's not that high a bar). I thought you'd welcome it.

I wish I had held off from voting a little longer, the race would have been very interesting at this point.

Plan B Person of the Year for 2016
Update
There appears to be some concern regarding the process for choosing Plan B Person of the Year and how individual vote totals will affect the outcome. Therefore, I will once again explain in detail the official procedure for determining who will become the Plan B Person of the Year for 2016:

The person who gets the most votes will become Plan B Person of the Year for 2016.

Anymore questions?

Anonymous concerned Plan B member: What if there is a tie between two or more candidates?

I'm glad you asked that question. I'm sure that your concern is on the minds of many of our other members and certainly deserves an answer. If the largest total vote count is shared between two or more candidates, there must be a strategy in place prior to the occurrence of that possible scenario and it must meet the unparalleled standards that have made the Plan B Person of the Year Award election so unique and regarded by the membership. The method must be bullet proof and it is essential that fair and unbiased rules are adhered to strictly in order to keep the integrity of our procedural method intact. The official standing on this issue is that the Plan B Person of the Year for 2016 Committee agrees with all the above and does in fact believe that our standards are peerless and unrivaled. Thank you for your concern and rest assured that it is shared by the Plan B Person of the Year for 2016 Committee.
