What should someone who is complaining of personal injury or other damage have to prove in order to hold a services provider responsible?
That the service provider is solely responsible, and no other factors contribute to the cause of personal injury or other damage. IMHO
I disagree. If the service provider is 50% at fault -- that is, if, of the total fault, 50% of it is the service provider's -- then the service provider should have to pay 50% of the damages. The problem in the Google case is that Google does not appear to have been at fault at all.
Reason is valuable only when it performs against the wordless physical background of the universe.
