Bastard meteorologists.
I've come to believe over the years that much like pedophiles are attracted to professions and activities that give them easy access to children, pathological liars are attracted to the field of meteorology because it's a proffession that allows them to exercise their compulsion to lie without any consequences...

These people need help...

For some reason the damn spell check in my browser has stopped working ever since I did a malware elimination run on this computer yesterday...

It's a pain in the ass... :arg

ETA:

But on the other hand, who needs spell chack when I have Joe? :P

Maybe I should try re-installing Firefox...

Spell check is a great blessing for someone like me who thinks so much more quickly than he types; my fingers just simply can't keep up with my brain... 8-)

In Firefox -

Tools > Options > General > X check my spelling as I type

(in case you needed to know that)

I had already done that, but it still wasn't working...

But the re-install and reboot seems to have done the trick... :ok

I guess my anti-malware software got a little too enthusiastic...

I installed a new software that I wanted to check out related to work a few days ago, and I think I failed to skip by all of the optional installs (which resulted in malware crap like "right-surf" popping up and tabs being opened to garbage I had no interest in.)

That's what I get for being a cheap bastard who likes to get software for free...

I did both an anti-malware run and a restoration to default settings on Firefox, which meant I had to reinstall some things like ad block plus and spell check, but for some reason the damn spell check still wasn't working...

After reading what you've written without the spell-checker I'm thinking that you probably broke it...

I just went back and spell checked a post I wrote earlier today...

When I went into edit mode there were so many typos that the red lines lit up like a Christmas tree...

Points are also deducted for failure to correct grammar: "much as"

Why not go all the way back to "pædo-" and "æro-" ? ;)

Tomorrow we are to get freezing rain as Ma Nature farts in our general direction. Officially the snowiest winter on record here now.

It was just too blazing hot here to smoosh the a and the e together. But thank goodness last night we had a lovely thunderstorm with a reasonably weighted rain (i.e. not too light and not too heavy) so this morning has come in with bright sunshine, blue skies and low humidity.

We were supposed to get some more storm systems the middle of this week, but it looks like that has disappeared from the forecast... :(

The drive to work was slick as snot. Jim's rain has accidently headed our way and will be here Thursday so the next forecast is for fog and flooding.
