Post-Christmas blues

and greens, and any other color gatorade my body has rejected the last few days.
Once again, my beautiful little petri dishes did a number on me. Four hours after returning home, my body ejected everything it's eaten the last week -- or so it felt. I'm finally in a 12-hour span of mostly keeping down gator or ginger and a saltine or two every hour, but wow, does my diaphragm ache. Not to mention my head. The 101 fever doesn't help much either. Popsicles are on tomorrow's list to get.
I was supposed to fly to Chicago tomorrow morning, for a girls NYE with my BFF. No such luck.
Bah humbug and all that. I'm sick of being sick already.

If it's any consolation I have it shooting out the other end

I'm sure that helped her out, Crackpot.
It certainly made my day.

Unfortunately without the smell video wouldn't do it justice

But thanks for providing that additional useful information...

Very informative, CP... in an anal sort of way. You and Guinevere pretty much have the gastrointestinal tract covered....

Something they'd prefer to a void...
Hope that both get better rapidly.

Please don't pass either ailment on.

Gastroenteritis is a good reason to avoid those little vectors aka kids. If I lived closer I would bring you homemade chicken soup. I hope the Swede is around to tend to you. Tell him to wash his hand a lot and use hand sanitizer or he will get it too.

Well that's one way to avoid the Christmas Plush.

Down 7 pounds since before Thanksgiving.
The Swede is skiing with his daughter. Luckily my posse has brought me the necessary supplies -- mostly more gatorade and saltines -- and no one is entering the house quite yet.
CP, hope you're better soon.

Looks like my daughter got some bug (flu?). In bed since sunday night. Achy, fever, cough, sniffles. I better not get it.
Feel better Guin.

One friend has been down with a virus for a week and I just got a call from our New Year's Eve dinner hostess who is just starting to come down with something and afraid of sharing it.
Maybe we'll make other plans.

That was a good idea for the hostess.
Nobody wants a nasty virus in their midst.

Down another 3 pounds -- below my lowest weight of the year. Not exactly how I wanted to get there though.
Managed some toast today, and a scrambled egg. Progress. . . .
No wild, or even semi-wild NYE for me. I'll be in bed by 8.
