Having braved sub-zero temperatures for a new reality TV show, stripping off under warm studio lights was not exactly going to be a problem.
But Gavin Henson wasn't just showing off his toned and tanned physique as a treat for his female admirers.
Instead he dared to bare all for a magazine shoot to raise awareness of male cancer for the Everyman charity.

Re: Reality Bytes, get new batteries quick!
Actually RB along with many other Welsh rugby supporters has joined the "Get Gav Out Of Strictly" campaign - we would rather see him like this:

If he does well in Strictly he'll be under contract to them until Christmas which would mean it would be virtually impossible for him to came back to playing and get enough game time in to put himself in contention for selection to the world cup squad - but if he gets voted out pretty quickly then he still has a chance though the clock is now ticking down.
That poster is 50' high on the Millenium stadium advertising the new 2010/2011 kit - yet Gav is not a member of the current squad it caused uproar yesterday and has needled the welsh boys big time with reports ranging from claiming they were on the verge of walking out like this one in the Daily Fail *spit*
I think it was a very poor choice by the WRU - yes we DO want to see Gav back in the jersey but ffs how does alienating him from the rest of the squad benefit team Wales?

This one in The Guardian:Wales stars are needled by pin-up Gavin Henson

Wales players were left incensed on Wednesday by their employers’ decision to use a giant poster of Gavin Henson to launch the new national kit.
On the day the Ospreys centre - who has been on unpaid leave for 18 months - was confirmed in the Strictly Come Dancing line-up, he was also causing an almighty stir at the Millennium Stadium, despite not being there in person.
Seven leading players were left stunned when the launch culminated in the unveiling on the side of the stadium of a 100-foot banner depicting their absent team-mate.
There were chaotic scenes as several players, who had been informed about the promotion’s content only 30 minutes earlier, protested to WRU officials.
Jamie Roberts, the Cardiff Blues and Lions centre, was particularly agitated and at one stage he had to be placated by chief executive Roger Lewis when he appeared to be on the brink of walking out. The 23-year-old said diplomatically: ‘It’s a very interesting choice, to say the least. Obviously Gavin’s profile is very high and the union have decided to use that. Whether Gavin returns to rugby remains to be seen.
‘I don’t watch Strictly. I’ve got better things to do with my time. He is a talented player but he will have to train hard and play well if he wants to play for Wales again. He is no different to anyone else.’
After failing to remove the bad taste over lunch, Roberts wrote on his Twitter page: ‘Is this an insult to current Welsh international players... wonder what the Welsh public will think?!’ He later added a clarification, saying: ‘I asked a question rather than making a statement on the matter, just to see the response… some interesting feedback!!’
James Hook, one of Henson’s fellow Ospreys, said: ‘We were surprised to see Gavin up there because we haven’t heard from him for so long.’
Henson himself was quoted in a WRU press release, saying: ‘When the WRU asked me to be one of the first to put on the new kit, I had no hesitation. I have always felt a great sense of pride whenever I have had the privilege of being able to wear the national jersey.’
The 28-year-old has not represented Wales since the last match of the 2009 Six Nations - against Ireland in Cardiff. Yet, despite uncertainty about his future as he seeks a fresh start outside Wales, Henson is determined to return to the Test fold in time for next year’s World Cup.
Lewis would appear to share his aspirations. Asked to explain the choice of first poster boy in a campaign which will feature former players as well as current ones, the chief executive said: ‘Gavin is dreaming of pulling on the Wales shirt again. 'In the poster he isn’t wearing any boots and we are all looking to the day he pulls on his boots again for Wales.’

Wales players stunned at WRU's choice of Gavin Henson to model new kit
Wales players have been left stunned by the Welsh Rugby Union's decision to use Gavin Henson as the face of its new kit, even though the centre has not been involved in the game for the past 18 months.
Seven of them, including last season's captain, Ryan Jones, and Jamie Roberts, who plays in Henson's position of inside-centre, turned up for the kit launch at the Millennium Stadium yesterday and were told that Henson was behind the drape on the 100ft poster.
"Is this an insult to current Welsh international players?" Roberts wrote on his Twitter page above a link to a picture of Henson in the new Wales jersey, a couple of hours after a media conference he reportedly had to be dissuaded from leaving by the Welsh Rugby Union chief executive, Roger Lewis. "Wonder what the Welsh public will think?!"
Roberts received a supportive reply from the Wales wing, Shane Williams, another who was at the launch. "Join the club," he wrote, before Roberts took down his original message and replaced it with: "Just to note, I asked a question rather than making a statement on the matter; just to see the response . . . some interesting feedback."
Roberts had been diplomatic after the unveiling, saying: "It is a very interesting concept to say the least, but I am not going to say anything too controversial. Gavin is obviously high profile at the moment and the union have decided to use that.
"Whether he returns to rugby remains to be seen: he's a talented player but I am sure he will have to earn his place in the side."
The prop, Adam Jones, said: "I am a bit surprised [that Henson modelled the jersey] but that is the WRU for you. It is slightly strange: we have players like Shane Williams and Jamie Roberts who are equally as famous. It is a pretty good sign that Gavin is coming back to rugby, but for who we do not know."
The kit launch coincided with Henson being announced as one of the contestants on this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing and the WRU hoped to cash in on the publicity the 28-year-old, who has not played since suffering an ankle injury in March 2009 and is currently on unpaid leave from Ospreys, would generate. Asked if he would be watching the programme, Roberts said: "I have more important things to do."
Wales's kit suppliers, Under Armour, came up with the idea of using Henson. The WRU said that the coach, Warren Gatland, who missed the launch because he was abroad on a mountain climbing excursion for charity, had approved it and that Henson had not been paid for his time.
Lewis, who did not make himself available to the media after the unveiling, said at the launch that Henson had been chosen because he, like those the WRU was reaching out to buy the shirt, was dreaming of playing for Wales.
"Everyone wants to wear this jersey," Lewis said. "Gavin certainly does. It's the stuff of dreams and Gavin is dreaming about putting this jersey back on one day. We are looking forward to him putting his boots back on and playing rugby once again."
Henson has said he intends to resume his rugby career after his TV commitments are over, but he is under contract to Ospreys for the rest of the season and the region is not prepared to let him go without a transfer fee. England is an unlikely destination because most clubs have already filled their salary caps and the WRU has ruled out buying his contract.
"The boys were surprised to see Gavin wearing the jersey because he has not played for so long," said the Wales centre, James Hook.
"It was a good marketing stunt to get him up there and it is a way to sell the shirt. I have not spoken to him since he last played and have no idea what he intends to do."
I think it was a very poor choice by the WRU - yes we DO want to see Gav back in the jersey but ffs how does alienating him from the rest of the squad benefit team Wales?
