imagine how the passengers sitting in the right-side window seats in the plane on the ground must have reacted as they saw this?
I'll bet more than one of them had to go straight to their luggage for a fresh pair of underpants...

I'm guessing the plane that was coming in wasn't being flown by the Asiana Airlines Flight 214 pilots...

The television anchors act like it wasn't that close since the jets were 3/4 of mile apart when the Russian plane aborted the landing. At a landing speed of 150 mph that 3/4 of mile is gone in under 20 seconds. And given that Argentina is still playing World Cup and Russia didn't even make it out of group play, I'd be a concerned passenger if I saw that jet heading at me.
