He is non-responsive. I need to try him at home.

But yes, amend my answer to six. Add AndrewD, even tho has has not posted in a year.

Must be a den of vipers, then.

You forgot dgs49, who claims to be a lawyer as well (and who has also gone silent of late).

I'm gonna go with "den of mahogany paneling."

ETA:

Scooter is not a lawyer but he might as well be.

Could one of you vipers come over here and vipe my vindows?

 Couldn't resist. Sorry. (Yes, yes, I know...that joke was already ancient when I first heard it, probably nearly sixty years ago...)

Books! How adorable!

We haven't used books since the last century, bless your heart.

I am a nurse so the place hasn't gone completely to hell.

I don't really understand what LJ does but it doesn't seem to be lawyering or nursing. I think he might be a babysitter.

My dad used to say a viper was a Jewish handkerchief*

*those below age 40 probably need to google that word

I believe "handkerchief" is an archaic synonym for "sleeve"...

I totally forgot DGS! He was such a source of insight into the minds of naive knee-jerk conservatism. And a reminder of how obdurate that social tranche is to mental and emotional evolution.

I don't think Dave has "gone silent"...

He said a while back that with his new job he would be posting a lot less, but he still comes in with a few posts from time to time...

ETA:

Though at this point it's been over a month since he was last here:

Personally, I hope Dave has not decided to abandon our little cyber food-fight permanently...

I frequently disagree with him, (in fact he has the rare talent of making me look like a weak-kneed bleeding heart by comparison... ) but he's a good writer, and he represents a hardcore Neo-Spencerian perspective that without his participation really gets no airing on this board...

dgs posts at the same forum as editec these days.

As for his street cred, I believe him when he says he has a law degree, but there is very little he posts that makes me think of him as a lawyer.
