It's just a hair under $12 (USD) per hour at the current exchange rate. Healthcare is provided through NHS. Obviously a p/t job making sure the cleaning crew has emptied the trash, swept the floors, etc. Probably comparable to the pay rate in the US for similar work, although the US employee would not have healthcare unless s/he qualified for Medicaid.oldr_n_wsr wrote:Less than $10/hr for a supervisor?
And only 9.5 hours a week?
What kind of beni's does that job come with?
Virtually every US law firm that has individuals (rather than businesses) as clients puts a premium on Spanish-speaking attorneys and staff these days. For the last decade or so I have rather regretted taking French instead of Spanish in school.Big RR wrote:it's a consequence/need of the job; I have many Spanish speaking clients and hired a receptionist based on an ability to speak Spanish; same with my legal assistant. No problem (anymore than being able to speak English would be).
My wife's friend is a nurse...her ability to speak Spanish and Portuguese helps greatly.Sue U wrote:Virtually every US law firm that has individuals (rather than businesses) as clients puts a premium on Spanish-speaking attorneys and staff these days.
