Another Weekly Quiz

Post by BoSoxGal »

Supposedly quizzes and puzzles are good for staving off dementia; the BBC quiz leaves me feeling like an idiot half the time, so I thought I'd give us all an alternative: Slate's weekly news & politics quiz with Ken Jennings.

11/12, one minute two seconds, 494 points :ok

There's more actual news in this news quiz...

I was surprised on the "vegetarian" question....

It's certainly been my personal experience that "30% lower IQ" would be the correct answer...

Sorry I'm late - Halloween was very busy and VERY fun (I spent the whole weekend recuperating - I'm too old to dance like that!).

I am proud to declare 4 out of 12 in about 88 minutes for 171 pointlesses. Apparently reading all of the possibilities is more likely to garner points than jumping at the first one that catches the eye. Goodness - I KNEW four others but still was seduced by haste
