11/12 in 2 min. 18 sec....424 points.

For some reason, on some of the questions the site seemed to hang up for about 5 seconds after I answered (before it told me whether I was correct and went on to the next question). Or maybe it was my computer rather than the Slate site.

I don't really care all that much for the speed component of that quiz - it pressures me to rush and get things wrong that I would have puzzeled out if I'd spent a few more seconds.

So, no worries - you almost got a perfect score!

I like the speed thing too. Let's have more Leonard Cohen questions though....

That is pathetic... I beat you by 3 points!

You were faster at being pathetic, Meade. ;)

I didn't hear a lot of news last week, but obviously the questions were quirky given the commonality of the low correct score.

But if we both took 1 min 29 seconds, how can I have been any faster than LJ? (He remains patheticer).
