Ibuprofin and rest with the knees up helped. Ultimately surgery was needed.

Actually, even though chiropractic medicine is often over-sold for problems it cannot (and was never intended to) solve, this seems like a situation in which it might actually help.

Yeah, it is. The last one I saw was fatter than me. That wouldn't be so bad, except he was about 5'3" tall. (And damn near that wide.)

I had an amazing massage recently performed by an average-looking gentleman who was overweight; if anything, his lack of 'hotness' made me more relaxed and able to focus on nothing but the bliss of the experience.
