A previous version of this post said that Midwest FurFest is also known as Anthrocon. In fact, Anthrocon and Midwest FurFest are two separate, unaffiliated furry conventions.
Apparently, it's a bit of a niche . . . I might put Anthrocon on my vacation bucket list!
