Pretty tasty, I'd do her.
She has called her conversion "a bit of a mind bender" due to her political beliefs and former atheism, and prefers the term "orthodox Christian" over "evangelical" to describe herself, given the "cultural baggage" around the word "evangelical". She has said that the biggest impact her new-found faith had on her political beliefs was that she came to "view everyone as God's child and that means everyone deserves grace and respect.
Pretty nutty too, they are always good in the sack.
One person has views, writes book about them.
Next.

gob has hit upon an eternal truth.
bitchy women are good in the sack, but you can only stand them for so long without losing your self respect.
crazy women are amazing in the sack, but if you don t run for your life immediately , as soon as you wake up, you will end up either, in jail, getting beat up, and/or missing a body part....

What, exactly, makes her a "liberal"? I've never heard of her. What makes her a credible spokesperson for/from any group?
How, exactly, is "the Left" "killing free speech"? You have presented none of her views or argument, so how can anyone have anything to say about them? (BTW, I'm as "left" as they come around here, and you will find no stronger advocate for free speech than me.)

Well sue, she calls herself a liberal and so does Fox News, so it must be true.
But I will agree, not all those who consider themselves liberal are civil rights/free speech advocates, just as not all conservatives are opponents of those concepts. It's been that way as long as I can remember, and throughout much of history. So Lib, what's the point you are trying to make.

well I get liberty s point and , for once, completely agree with him.
the left, once the champion of liberties and freedoms , has become the thought police. they fight against freedom for Christians yet rant against "islamaphobia", pick a position for god s sake.
criticize a black person or politician and you are a racist, criticize hillari and you are a misogynist . I could go on and on.
when I was a young man the right championed intolerance, now it s the left

If he's getting air time on a national network, he hasn't been "silenced" by anyone.

the left, once the champion of liberties and freedoms , has become the thought police.
The left is not a homogeneous body (anymore than the right is). It contains civil libertarians and those who would silence critics and debate (just as the right does), and the tyranny of left dictatorships can be just as brutal as the tyranny of the right. Civil liberties are embraced by those on the left and right as well, and this often puts them at odds with others who are broadly grouped together with them; but one need only consider the debate about the NSA surveillance to see that protection of free speech makes strange bedfellows, joining libertarians with those on the left who would only agree with them on that issue.

Juan Williams got fired for making unprofessional comments that, in the view of his employer -- a respected news organization -- undermined his credibility as an objective news analyst. This was an employment decision that hardly constitutes being "silenced" by "the Left," even though promoting a generalized fear of Muslims is apparently the official policy advocated by conservatives.
If you can't understand why someone's bigoted public comments might make them unsuitable for certain jobs, then you would have no problem with the local police chief attending Klan rallies and posting about "niggers" on Stormfront.

Powers is currently a token liberal pundit on FOX, but she has a long pedigree in Democratic politics (She's a little older than she looks):
Kirsten A. Powers is an American political pundit, analyst, USA Today columnist, and a Fox News contributor. She began her career as a Democratic Party staff assistant with the Clinton-Gore presidential transition team in 1992, followed by an appointment as Deputy Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Public Affairs in the Clinton administration from 1993-1998. She subsequently worked in various roles including press secretary, communications consultant and party consultant.[1] She also serves as a columnist to USA Today, Newsweek and The Daily Beast.[2]
Powers wrote a column for The American Prospect[3] and her numerous articles have appeared in USA Today, Elle, the New York Observer, Salon, and the Wall Street Journal. In 2005 journalist Ben Smith wrote that Powers was "emerging as one of the Democratic Party’s national voices."[1]
Powers has worked for the New York State Democratic Committee, was the press secretary for Andrew Cuomo for Governor and Communications Director on the mayoral campaign of C. Virginia Fields. She also worked on the "Vote No on 3" campaign which overwhelmingly defeated Mayor Michael Bloomberg's ballot initiative to eliminate party primaries. Powers also served briefly as the press secretary for the Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair race of Donnie Fowler. She has consulted for a variety of non-profit organizations including Human Rights First and the National Council for Research on Women (NCRW).[2]
