We have your rain here and would be happy if you came and got it. After a very wet June we got 5&1/2 inches of rain in about 4&1/2 hours. They are deploying rescue boats to save folks about 2 miles from here.

There you Midwesterners and Easterners go again, hogging all the precipitation....
One would have that you'd gotten your share with all the snow you got in the winter...
But
nooooooo...
Some people are just never satisfied....

Dear Indiananites,
I don't need your water. I have a well.

If it doesn't melt this summer, is it the beginnings of a glacier?

Didn't you get a downpour on the 4th?

Yes, and thunder and lightening...(which was kind of neat; we rarely get either in 'Frisco)
On the other hand, one of the reasons we came to Tahoe is because weather on The 4th in the city is almost always the pits...(no actual rain, but cold, windy, dreary and foggy)
