I've bought quite a few things from Amazon. Before I buy I always read the reviews to help me decide. There is a place above the reviews called Customer Questions & Answers that I also read.

Can someone please tell me why people respond to a question with, "Not sure...I didn't keep the box," "Sorry, I don't know"? What the hell are they thinking? Are they mentally retarded? Stupid?

I'm going to give the first answer to my question, just to get it over with....

Answer: I have no idea why they do that....

wel,l I still don t have a solution to joe s amazon dilemma....

maybe he could go to the store and actually look the item over, talk to the store employees, figure out if he wants it, then go home and order it...

Here are two real examples of some answers at Amazon. They are for a French Press Coffee Maker -

Q: Can you buy replacement beakers for this brand?

A: I don't know. We broke ours too...

Q: When i ordered i thought i read bpa free plastic? now i cannot find this. please advise??

A: Sorry, I can't help you. I don't know what bpa is.

I think these are the same people who tweet TV sports programs to say "I think X will win".
