A 40-something British woman was rushed to the hospital after being hit in the head by a potato thrown from a moving vehicle, and then suffering a heart attack. The incident occurred at a pedestrian crossing on Manorsfield Road in Bicester, Oxfordshire, which is obviously in England.
“What kind of idiot throws a potato at a woman crossing the road!!!!” wrote alleged assault witness Julian Kemp on his Facebook page. “She is currently being attended by paramedics after suffering a heart attack!”
Police confirmed that the woman was indeed hit by a potato, but a spokesperson for the South Central Ambulance service told The Mirror that other health factors contributed to the woman’s medical emergency.
The assault remains under investigation. According to EverydayHealth.com, some potatoes are actually good for one’s heart, but not when thrown at one’s head.
