I sat next to OJ Simpson and two blond women at a play in San Francisco in the mid 80's.

Does he count as a celebrity?

He was arguing and nudging one of the women and kept saying, "One of these days..... POW!!"

Roy Harper's girlfriend once stuck her thumb in my eye.
John Otway, inumerable times.
I was once called a "peasant" by the late great Bob Todd.
Benny Hill in a staff canteen.
Once got into an argument with Steve Howe.
I called Denis Waterman "ugly" in front or Rula Lenska, who agreed with me.

When I was 9 or 10, I played touch football with Gary Merrill and some of my cousins (he was a friend of my aunt's). Does that count?

In the 7th grade I had a class with Chris Gabriel. He thought he was famous because his cousin was Roman Gabriel.

Similar in Geo Summer Field Camp Kip Byrd thought he was famous because his uncle was Larry Byrd.

Many have had an opportunity to next to me and feel as though they had a brush with greatness.

He doesn't like people throwing bones to his dogs, from next doors garden.

He gets quite irate about it in fact.

So he didn't want people to hurl stuff onto his property. And the problem with that is ...?

Also 'stood next to' Thomas Noguchi, "coroner to the stars", when my father was playing shakuhachi with the Wakita Ensemble (and also was moonlighting working as a medical examiner for the LA County Coroner's office while he was a resident in pathology).

Driving a parking lot shuttle at Gilette Stadium, a security guard flagged me gown and told me to wait. I did, and the entire lineup of the New England Patriots cheerleaders got on the bus.

Picking up four guys at Logan Airport...I still swear one was Richard Seymour. I once brought Keith Foulke and his wife to Logan.

Saw (and was greeted by) Scott Brown the day he won the election to Senate.

Cal Ripken, Jr. at the movies (pretty sure it was a Bond flick). Hillary (and just around the table from Ruth Bader Ginsburg) at an awards lunch where my firm was honored for its pro bono work including the reading program I ran (and HRC had previously come to our school and read with us).

Justice William Brennan. (I actually stood, rather than sat, next to him.) I played the piano at a reception for him when he presided over a moot court argument at Boalt.

I have been presented to Princess Anne The Princess Royal and then sat not far from her at a luncheon does that count?

Xeno and I sat with and had lunch with George Takei in Redruth of all places

I've thumped Walter Koenig in the head with a firedoor and made him see stars and which George Takei took great delight in teasing me about when we met

Sat with Darth Vader (Dave Prowse) and chatted about his arthritis at a Sci Fi convention I went to, I'd got there early before it opened really, he was just wandering around looking lost so we sat and chatted for a while until his "minders" showed up to collect him.

Sat with Racing Cars (They Shoot Horses Don't They) at a gig my hubbys band were playing.
If you can keep your head while those around you are losing theirs, you may have misjudged the situation.

I feel better because I don't know most of these "famous" people mentioned.
