For the first time in recorded history, a meteorite is reported to have killed a person.
The incident happened Saturday (Feb. 6) when an object, thought to be a meteorite, hit a college campus in Tamil Nadu, a state in southern India, the Wall Street Journal reported. The impact killed a man and injured three others, the WSJ said.
Officials found a 4-feet-deep (1.2 meters) crater in the ground that contained "bluish black" rock fragments, G. Baskar, the college's principal in Tamil Nadu's Vellore district, told the WSJ. [When Space Attacks: The 6 Craziest Meteor Impacts]
But NASA has yet to confirm whether the mysterious object is indeed a meteorite. "Our Planetary Defense Coordination Office is aware of the reports and is looking into it," said Laurie Cantillo, a NASA spokeswoman. "So at this point the report is unconfirmed."
The impact occurred at 12:30 p.m. local time (2 a.m. E.T.) Saturday, when a bus driver was standing on the grass near the college's cafeteria, according to Reuters. The driver, a 40-year-old man named Kamaraj, was killed, and a student and two gardeners standing nearby were injured, the WSJ reported.

The last recorded human fatality caused by a meteorite was in 1825, according to a list kept by International Comet Quarterly. That, too, was in India.
In 1954, a woman in Alabama, US, was injured when a meteorite crashed through the roof of her house.

I think I'd rather not be touched by god, thank you.
But what did that guy have to DO to be the very worst person on earth so that god used his mighty meteorite of divine justice on him? Worse than Kim Jong Un? Worse than Putin? Assad? Mugabe?
Mysterious ways.

Why did you bring God into this? What makes you think this guy was singled out for punishment? Oh, that's right - bigots bigot; it's what they do

It is merely a direct logical consequence of your own dogmas. If god created everything and he knows the future then he set that rock in motion knowing that it was going to hit that person howevermany thousands of years later on.
Bigot = someone who can think logically?

Well if that's the definition, I apologize - you're no bigot

Not me then. I support all invisible sky-gods equally and treat their emissaries will equal kindness and respect. I am unfailingly polite and kind to the JWs, I am pleasant but firm with the Moonies the Hare Krishnas, the Mormons &c. We had a student at UCSC who was in training to be a Santeria Priestess.
And every time I visit my Dad I go to church with him and contribute $20 to the collection plate. We have also supported the Hospital my grandfather helped to found in Gimbe Ethiopia for his church and more recently the work of Dr Larry Thomas (also a member of their church).
The MajGenl is deeply bigoted against Muslims, Mormons, and many Christian denominations, to a degree I can never hope to attain. "By their works you will know them."
And I think I heard that it was not a meteorite after all so it's not so mysterious.

Not Describes me then perfectly.
FTFY (I suppose getting one word right out of three ain't bad...far better than your usual average...)
These two definitions nail you even better:
Simple Definition of bigot
a person who strongly and unfairly dislikes other people, ideas, etc. : a bigoted person; especially : a person who hates or refuses to accept the members of a particular group (such as a racial or religious group)
Full Definition of bigot
a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance

The only thing missing is your picture...

Whilst I'm sure to be many things to a degree that you could not hope to attain, I doubt you care to explain that remark. I know of no Moslem, Mormon, or folks of other denominations to whom I have I acted the bigot.
Now if you mean that I argue the incorrectness of faith systems (other than biblical Christianity) and point to divergences between same, then guilty as charged.
If you refer to various remarks poking at LJ (for example) about the Roman church and suchlike, those may be chargeable as less than charitable.
Other than that, I'd appreciate specifics because real bigotry must be corrected. Prejudice is a different matter given that we all are to one degree or another deeply in favour of some things and suspicious of others.
