A drug deal who was given a suspended sentence has been dragged back to court after telling the judge to 'suck my d***' in a celebratory Facebook post.
Daniel Sledden had walked free from court for selling marijuana just hours before the offensive comment about Judge Beverley Lunt appears from an account in his name.
The 27-year-old and his 22-year-old brother Samuel had admitted trading in cannabis from thsi homes in Hopwood Street, Accrington.
The full post read: 'Cannot believe my luck 2 year suspended sentance beats the 3 year jail yes pal! Beverly [sic] Lunt go suck my d***.'
But the brothers will now have to return to the dock, according to court officials, for a review of their sentence.
It is understood that Judge Lunt, the resident judge at Burnley, has been made aware of the comments on social media.
The offensive post has now been removed from Facebook, and has been replaced by a grovelling apology.
'I want to say how sorry I am for what I wrote about Judge Lunt and my sentence,' he wrote.
'I was very lucky not to be sent to prison. I want to say sorry to Judge Lunt and to anyone else who was upset or offended by my thoughtless post, which I didn't mean.'
Several friends posted mocking comments on the apology, suggesting he had been ordered to write it by his solicitor.
