That Didn't Take Long....

(I decided this really didn't belong in either of the threads we have discussing this)
Orlando Florida Gay Nightclub False Reality Shooting
The brief mainstream media (whore) report (linked below) knows how many “dead” and how many “hospitalized.” But it doesn’t tell when the (supposed) shooting occurred.
[From the “git-go” the initial object of the event is to
emotionally impact the gullible (“sheeple”) public]
Rather, the particular news blatantly displays a law enforcement helmet with a hole in it. This author thought that particular evidence, to a real crime, would not be subject to cavalier public displays – especially when the alleged crime took place less than 24 hours ago.
As the coming days unfold, you can be sure that more anomalies and inconsistencies about this false reality event will become transparent.
Furthermore the “father” of the alleged “shooting” villain has already publicly apologized. That reported facet (“over-kill”) is a “dead” give-a-way as to this alleged violence event being contrived (pre-planned). Real grief does not impact survivors to immediately go public for photo-op displays. Crisis actor (fake) “grief,” does.
Make no mistake, the propaganda hounds of corrupt government are again scripting another false reality. They look forward to the anticipated day that Americans will welcome gun confiscation and click their heels to the powers that be. In the meantime there are perpetrated more government contrived (false reality) events to further force fear into the populace and to make that same public, “putty” in their malevolent molding hands.
Oh, don’t forget to glue your ass to your favorite big screen TV chair. And while you are at it, strap that damnable remote to your hand. But don’t forget to leave the other hand free to devour movie microwave popcorn. Get your money’s worth as you watch the media whores report the latest scripted tabloid event.
You will witness much more of the massive mainstream media (whore) coverage of this Orlando false reality event.
The perpetrators now have a propaganda / violence event which reportedly rivals and has surpassed the number of alleged victims compared to the Sandy Hook, hoax event. (That, contrived event has been thoroughly exposed). Look for the usual crisis actors, the photo-op pics of grief, etc.
Already this morning while listening to a Christian online worship service, the Christian minister did not question the latest mainstream media whoredom news about the alleged Orlando gay nightclub “massacre.” He readily clicked his heels and prayed for the (supposed) “injured” and (supposed) “survivors.”
Isn’t it amazing how these government contrived events stir people’s emotions and influence them to react as the “powers that be” desire them to respond?
Wouldn’t it be gratifying if more people and people leaders would recognize and pray for an awakening among the “sheeple” populace and relate that we live in a decadent culture which has been and continues to be undermined by the depravity of human nature?

God damn, you can almost see their tin foil hats and the sound of black helicopters. Exponential craziness.
This is pathological denial battling it out with with full-blown delusion. I bet they're the same deep thinkers who will swear that bombs, not planes, took down the towers on 9/11.
If the truth doesn't fit... make something up.

Didn't take long. What's the difference between the batshit crazy Moral Matters writer and this ACLU asshole?
Christian conservatives are responsible for the mass shooting at a gay bar in Orlando because they "created this anti-queer climate," according to American Civil Liberties Union attorney.
"You know what is gross — your thoughts and prayers and Islamophobia after you created this anti-queer climate," ACLU staff attorney Chase Strangio tweeted on Sunday morning.
About 50 people were killed last night by Omar Mateen, a U.S. citizen born to Afghan parents suspected to have "leanings toward extreme Islamic ideologies." The FBI is investigating the attack as a "domestic terror incident."
But Strangio — who "spend life fighting Christian homophobia while being loved & supported by [his] Muslim family" — and his colleagues connected the shooting back to Christians and Republican politicians who oppose gay marriage. "The Christian Right has introduced 200 anti-LGBT bills in the last six months and people blaming Islam for this," Strangio tweeted. "No."

The crazy Christian Right vilified Planned Parenthood, and that was followed by a shooting at a Planned Parenthood clinic. The crazy Christian Right vilified GBLT and the bathroom issue, and there was a shooting of a GLBT club. The lines are not that difficult to connect.

My friend's cousin died today in Orlando.
I will not tell her I'm praying for her.
I will not change my profile picture to a rainbow or some other inane show of solidarity.
I will not hashtag with words about the shooting.
I will not ask her what I can do or send her a lasagna.
I will be ANGRY.
I will demand to know why AR 15s are available anywhere other than the front lines of war.
I will bristle when I hear "gay" and "LGBT" over and over and over as if those words somehow explain why AMERICANS were shot in cold blood.
The victims were humans enjoying a night out.
The victims were people listening to music and having cocktails.
I don't give a shit about who they were going home with or who was going to climb into bed with them when they left Pulse.
I just know that 53 American citizens are not going home tonight.
And that makes me ANGRY.

Apparently the Moslem man was incensed by seeing two men kiss. He didn't need Christians to form any of his thinking; there was enough in his own religion, his own scriptures. Why not blame Islam, damn it? That's a line that is (a) not that difficult to connect except for (b) anti-Christian bigot apologists.
An Islamic terrorist attack is of course not the fault of Islam but of Christianity (and guns, lest we forget). God forbid that Obama should mention the word Islam so let's just call the killer "inspired by various extremist information that was disseminated over the Internet". It does have the advantage of allowing people to shelter behind blaming Christians. Or guns perhaps. Or maybe Republicans. Or maybe my Aunt Sally. But let's not talk about Islam... they are all cuddly folks who are horrified by all these Christians teaching their young men to kill.
I get a little angry at times. I'm angry that over 100 Americans were shot for no damn reason whatsoever - as if there ever even could be any valid reason at all. Wish I could take someone a lasagna. Glad I'm not stupid enough to think that banning one particular assault rifle is going to change jack-shit, other than inflating someone's prejudiced ego. The sooner we all realize this is a declared war, and not some momentary aberration, the better off we might become.

The point of terrorist activity is to produce terror. Looks like the events in Orlando are working--producing terror. Or at least a significant amount of irrational, reflexive response that does nothing to reduce the probability of similar activity in the future. I would say 'running around like a chicken with its head cut off', but in today's America the number of people who have witnessed that event is a small fraction of the population.

A declared war? We are not at war with Islam. Some bunch of assholes halfway across the world claims to be "at war" with us, or "the West" generally, using Islam as an excuse, but what of it? Assholes are assholes and will use any excuse to be assholes if it gains them power. The fact is that by overwhelming numbers they kill other Muslims in Syria and Iraq far more frequently than they manage to kill -- or, more accurately, inspire someone else to kill -- Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists or secularists in Europe or North America.
A Muslim shooting up a gay bar because he is personally incensed by gays does not make it "an Islamist terrorist attack," regardless of whether he "pledges allegiance" to ISIS while doing it. It is simply a deranged murderer murdering people he hates. There are many many violent crimes committed against LGBTQ people, and the religious orientation (if any) of the perpetrators is of limited or no significance. Not every murder -- even mass shootings -- is a terrorist attacks, let alone in the actual service of a real or imagined socio-political philosophy. In talking about the murders in Orlando, people need to get a grip on reality. This was a hate crime directed at gay people because they were/are gay, not a political act because they were/are American. Calling it "radical Islamic terrorism" is a dogwhistle for the rabid right-wing bigots and xenophobes, and obscures the genuine issues underlying the attack.

Thanks for perfectly mirroring my point. We are not at war with Islam. Islam is at war with us - or at least, one significant part of Islam - and people will go to any length to pretend that it is not so or is only "what of it?" So what? Who cares?
It's mentally ill people - it's Christians - it's guns - it's assholes - it's anybody but who it actually is. Of course it was an attack on homosexuals because of orientation (and not because they are Americans). But they are Americans - they are humans - and I am horrified that over a hundred of my compatriots have been gunned down. I'm not horrified because homosexuals were shot - but because fellow American human beings were shot - their orientation is nothing to me.
But it certainly is something to Islam. It is deserving of death and torture, which happens (as you point out) "over there" on a regular basis. If a so-called Christian called for the death of homosexuals based on Deuteronomy, I'd say that person was utterly ignoring Christ and the teachings of the faith. But the Quran and the faith it promotes demand hatred against women, hatred against unbelievers and hatred against homosexuals.
I don't care how many ACLU assholes come out with attempts to blame Christianity or the NRA or .... whomever.... for this act and others like it. It's Islam. Pay attention.

That is total bullshit. Say there are even 1 million "militants" who back ISIS/Al Qaeda etc., that represents 0.0625% of Muslims -- hardly a "significant" part of Islam. Even if there were 10 million, you'd still be taking about only six tenths of one percent. And Islam itself is not a monolithic religion, and within its branches there are numerous schools of thought. When questioned about attitudes toward homosexuality, I heard an imam on NPR last night say (and I'm paraphrasing), the Quran says what it says, but Islam must accept and adapt to the modern world. Just as the Bible says what it says, but both Christianity and Judaism have adapted.
You may not like it, but you must acknowledge that there are more than a few "so-called Christians" in this country today who preach hate against homosexuals (and subordination of women and discrimination against non-believers) based on their view of Biblical teaching. And there are millions more who, while not preaching hate, exactly, are more than eager to discriminate against LGBTQ people and otherwise exclude them from full participation in the civil rights available to everyone else, or to use the power of government to impose their own view of Christianity as the law of the land. It is only a matter of degree separating these views.
To be clear, I am not blaming either Christianity or Islam for Omar Mateen's assault on a nightclub; his attack was his responsibility alone, and based on whatever personal derangement twisted his horrible little mind. To the extent he might have drawn on some element of the Quran (or the Bible, for that matter) as justification, the broader world of both the Muslim and Christian communities repudiate that, and rightly so.

It's been almost a full three days now and I'm kinda surprised that we haven't heard anything from the Westboro Baptist wackos yet, threatening to come down to Florida to protest the funerals, etc. This sort of thing is right in their wheelhouse.

And there they are .... the nuts on top of the sundae.
Maybe they
should come down to Orlando .... it's only a couple hundred miles to the Everglades, and there wouldn't be much to find once the gators got done with them.
