Dead at 83.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Proof that one doesn't have to be incredibly good looking to be a star.

RIP Gene. Say hi to Gilda for us.

Indeed RIP Mr Wilder, you brought joy to millions.

I wish I could have found a better copy of this scene:

83, he was older than I thought because he always seemed so much younger than he was.

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Not funny, Meade.

But then, you're no Gene Wilder - who was brilliantly funny and talented. RIP

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

If you have an AMC Entertainment theater in or near your town, you may be able to see two Gene Wilder classics on the big screen, in a movie theater, just like they were meant to be seen.

AMC Theaters and the Warner Brothers distribution team have partnered to bring two of Wilder's most popular films back to the big screen (in the larger metro and market areas, naturally).  Approximately 50 theaters across the country will be hosting special showings of both "Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" and "Blazing Saddles" this weekend.  Follow this link — https://www.amctheatres.com/movie-news- ... ene-wilder — to see theaters and times in your area and (if you're one of the lucky ones with a theater nearby) to purchase tickets on-line.

No word yet on which version of "Blazing Saddles" will be shown; here's hoping it's not one that has been too sanitized.
