Given recent events, most specifically the testing of a larger bomb and development of an ICBM which can reach the W. Coast of the good old U.S. of A. would you support a military first strike against N. Korea?

Should Hillary somehow lose the election, I can see several other countries asking the same questions about Trump and the USA.

You don't live in a west coast city...
My greatest fear is that Obama will declare that North Korea acquiring the capacity to strike the US west coast with a nuclear weapon is "completely unacceptable"...
We all know how
that works out...

Go get some Action Heros and send in there ,I suppose .I seriously doubt NK can put put together a reliable package to hit the US ,what you probably should watch for is a container bomb-after all it is rocket science .Every Tom ,Dick and Kim cant put together reliable complex systems .(why would you waste this capabilty on the US anyway?Isnt there bigger threats to NK next door ?

One problem with container bombs is loss of control. Those few countries blessed with having nuclear weapons are reluctant to let them out of their hands which they would have to do to get the container delivered. And during that whole time there is a chance the it would be detected and dumped in the middle of the ocean.
Then there is the whole waiting period problem: Initiation to delivery would take days to weeks so by the time the bomb
got there you might not be mad anymore.

The score to date:
Evens. 5 votes no and 5 votes yes. Surprising given the slightly liberal bent of this group.

Ate breakfast at the counter of a local restaurant this morning. Packed. Long waiting line, but lots of room at the counter. Took that for immediate service. Most of the others seemed regulars, male, discussing politics. General consensus at that point, both Hillary and Trump were too dangerous and the Libertarian should get more tv time, including the debates.
I ate slowly and said little. My wife did join in occasionally. Some people left, some more came in and the consensus shifted. Suddenly Hillary is stupid, Trump is brilliant. Hillary is a crook. She kills people. The emails are trivial compared to all she has really done. She gave N. Korea the a-bomb. She gave Russia all our uranium for bombs. She has stolen millions. As I climbed off my stool to leave, I whispered to my wife, "see any baskets?" and she just grinned.
I saw some talking heads on CNN discussing Trump and Dr. Oz. One head said it just demonstrated this was the non-fact political race. Trump put on a good show with Oz. So what, that it was not revealing anything like a real medical report. That is not what counts. Nobody except reporters care about fact checking. The voters want a good show.
I can't disagree. I don't like it and wish it were otherwise, but I can't disagree.
