I couldn t find my thread about the south east burning. if anyone else can, please bring it to the top for me?

Israel burnt last week, and still may be. who knows? it left the news.

they did definitely say it was terrorism tho..., and that they arrested 12 people in connection with the fires.

will we soon look like the middle east? largely desertified?

it was not always so, burning the land was a favored tactic in wars there, in the olden days....

are we being burnt on purpose?

I don t hear any reporting on the cause of these American fires.

nor on the rash of train de railments and gas line ruptures, chemical plant explosions.

they only make the news for one blurb, for one night.

(That's sarcasm for anyone who thinks I'm being serious). We are in the middle of one of the worst droughts in decades on the east coast. When things get dry, they burn. When things get hot, they burn. Burning happens all the time, but stuff is extra dry, and extra hot, thus extra burn. It's as simple as that.

Some people have been so conditioned to seeing terrorists under their own beds, that to them natural phenomena can only be interpreted as an ISIS plot.

it was reported last night that they were investigating the fire aroung dolly s place as arson.

two teenagers are in custody. suspected of arson.

I m afraid that they must be charged as adults.

I m usually pretty liberal in forgiving teenaged transgressions, but an example must be set, I think.

I have no tolerance for arsonists.
