Charles Oakley, One rule for the elite and one for us

So, I imagine that Barkley screams racism and the guy gets fired for doing his job. Liberal elite can do what ever they want and the rest us have to put up with it?

Madison Square Garden security chief Frank Benedetto has been fired over Wednesday night’s incident involving former Knicks star Charles Oakley, DNAinfo New York reports.
MSG executive chairman James Dolan fired Benedetto Friday morning, according to the report.
Oakley was arrested Wednesday night and charged with four misdemeanors after an altercation with arena security during the Knicks’ game against the Clippers. Oakley was reportedly yelling at Dolan, with whom he has a longstanding feud, and was asked to leave. When Oakley refused, he was forcibly removed from the arena.

Dolan is widely considered as one of the worst sports team owners anywhere. Oakley was known for his work ethic and being a good teammate. I'm leaning toward Oak until there is real evidence to the contrary (and so are most people).

Lib, I believe you mean
Oakley, but I understand the mistake...
All those black basketball players named Charles look alike...
And the Liberal elite had nothing to do with Benedetto's firing...
In fact he was fired because security didn't remove Oakley
sooner:
Dolan said Oakley “came to the Garden with an agenda,” and critiqued Madison Square Garden staff with not ejecting the ex-player from the arena sooner.
“I think Charles should’ve never made it to his seats,” Dolan said, suggesting Oakley was inebriated at the time.
“From the moment [Oakley] stepped into the Garden, he began with this behavior — abusive behavior, disrespectful behavior, stuff you don’t want to say on the radio,” Dolan said. “And it just accelerated all the way down to his seats and ultimately to the confrontation with security,”
“Clearly our staff could see that,” Dolan added. “Were they intimidated and that’s why they didn’t do anything? I don’t know. The right thing, if everything had gone well, he never would’ve made it to his seats.”

Tell us again, what do you/did you do for a living? Then ask yourself how you'd like it if some sidewalk supervisor was all up in your grille about the way you held your hammer or drafting pencil or double-clicked your mouse. Maybe you worked on a factory assembly line fastening the bumpers onto cars and someone on the sidelines kept hollering "Right-tighty, lefty-loosey!" at you all the time? I'm pretty sure that after a while you'd get pretty damn pissed off about it too.
But according to you, when it comes to sports because they paid money to watch them do it it's OK for the guy with the courtside side to get on some ball player's case. I suppose you also think that it's OK to interrupt a Broadway production, or stand up and shout out spoilers during a movie, or talk all the way through an orchestral performance too because "I paid for my seat!".
You make me wanna puke all over again.

And now comes the
ad hominem attack.
Even if I had, they at least managed to teach me how to spell, capitalize, and when and where to use punctuation.

Wes has made it quite clear that he would have a difficult time finding his way to the short bus, let alone actually getting a seat...

You have to go back to the original context...(Which lib left out):

I'm still puzzling over the subject title.
Apparently The Dr. Witness Roundmound Shaq (good point, LJ) was arrested.
So is lib suggesting that the elite get arrested while "we" get away with it?
Who is this "us"?

I am fascinated by the use of the word "elite" which, being undefined, becomes a garbage word for "we hate them" without saying who "they" are.
They have managed to invert the meaning of elite from someone who is exceptional in a good way like an elite athlete, elite scientist, intellectual elite, elite musician &c. to something bad.
Republicans are so gullible.

And as I pointed out earlier rube, it's also possible for a person, (such as, well, yourself) to have an elitist attitude without actually being an elite anything....
