How to Plead Your Case in Court - Legal Advice 101

This video is 20 minutes long but it was so fascinating that I couldn't stop watching it. I learned so much about court procedure, including terminology to demonstrate to the judge that I'm no dummy, that I'm confident now that I can represent me because I have myself for a lawyer.

So, make some popcorn and pour your favorite beverage then sit back and prepare to be educated...

You can't beat the value of great legal advice, especially when it's free.

This vid is very reminiscent of Michael Sandel's "Harvard Justice" that plays on PBS stations on occasion. You always leave feeling you've learned something new and useful.

These guys perform an invaluable, yet underappreciated, public service. Plainly, the law doesn't need to be so complicated.

Some really great advice in there...

Especially the part about your promissory note being as good as a Federal Reserve Note...

I'm going to try that at Safeway...

It's also very important to ask if they're trialing you in a Military Tribunal...

You don't want to go in to fight a traffic ticket and find yourself on a plane for Gitmo...

Your promissory note is BETTER than a federal reserve note--you have a legal obligation to exchange it for something of actual value.

Culture and local custom can be more powerful in many ways than the law. Have you noted the statement on your money 'legal tender for all debts public and private.' Have you seen those signs next to the cash register that says 'We do not accept bills larger than 20's' My neighborhood Denny's where I know the names of all the help, including the managers and the busboys, has one that says nothing bigger than 50's. Guess how happy everyone would be if I tried to pay for my $4.00 breakfast special, less the 15% AARP discount, with a hundred dollar bill?

sg. Speaking of Denny's... do they still have the FREE birthday meal offer? I haven't been to Denny's for five years or more so I'm out of touch.

This video goes a long way toward explaining Mr grumblesNgrumbles's thought process. Note that it's titled "Part 5 Part2 FINAL" which is apparently the 5th in a series of 8 videos in which he discusses the subject of promissory notes... or something....

The business of asking what kind of court smells to me. It sounds very similar to the Sovereign Citizen stuff about income tax being only voluntary, and lots of other silliness, including if the US Flag next to the judge has gold fringe on it, it means it is an admiralty court.

Sure, do you own pleading and stand up there on your own. Good luck filling your appeal.

I would strongly recommend that this guy exercise his right to remain silent.

How do people come up with this nonsense? Apart from brain damage, I mean?

That can be easily done, CP. Just bill yourself for services rendered and then endorse that bill payable to yourself. Beat the banks at their own game...

The Joe Guy/wesw connection. Yet another conspiracy theory pushed by the lawyers at Plan B.

Speaking of wesw, he's in a completely different zip code than I am. And speaking of zip codes, check this out. You only need to watch the first 50 seconds to get the necessary information...

How could you know that, unless you are Joe *and* wes?

I'm not sure but think I'm flattered that some people think I'm wesw. Being wesw would mean some people think I'm so bright that I could create a completely different character than myself, who knows things I shouldn't even know.

Either that or people believe I have severe dissociative identity disorder and require medication and psychiatric care.

One of the two.... :D

Every now and then back in the day you'd post some very clever & funny creative writing; it's because of that creativity that I considered you capable of creating wesw.

But you are also fucking nuts. :nana

Only God could create wesw. Ask Meade and he will tell you...

That's your opinion. Me and my friends inside my head don't agree so I outnumber you... :P
