So sad; elephants should only be in nature preserves or national parks.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Elephants (or rhinos, or tigers) in circuses and zoos don't generally get massacred for their tusks, horns, or pelts.  Can you say the same about these critters in nature preserves, national parks, or other 'sanctuaries' in Africa or Asia?
