What does it mean, that I find the most interesting thing on broadcast tv is
the series of commercials from insurance companies?

Is it possible that they're hitting their target demographic?
I, too, am impressed with the humorous Geico and Progressive ad campaigns. Almost all achieved within 15 seconds or less.
